She had nine years of intensive martial arts training before she went to the college. Your child can dance with the St. Cloud Crush Dance Team! Crush dance team and coaches will be teaching a fun dance routine that participants will perform later that evening at halftime of the Apollo High School Varsity football game. They will perform again at the St. Cloud Crush Dance Show being held on Saturday, November 9 at Tech High School. Tuition includes juice, pizza, and snacks. Please pack a drink, snack and dinner if your child has allergies. Please register by September 27, 2024, to be guaranteed a t-shirt. Participants should wear comfortable clothes to practice in. Youth football for younger players is back! This touch/flag football league is a great way for your child to be introduced to the game of football! Games will be played on Saturday mornings at Apollo. Your child will learn basic football skills like passing, running, and catching from the Apollo coaches and varsity football players. Following the skills session, players will compete in a game each Saturday. Each child will practice valuable life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship in an enthusiastic learning environment. A t-shirt will be provided (please indicate Youth XS, S, M, L or Adult S, M, L, XL, XXL). Tiger Youth Tackle Football (Entering Grades 5 & 6)

Come join the Tech Football Family! This is a padded, full contact football league offered to students at Clearview, Lincoln, Oak Hill, Talahi and South Junior High Schools who will be entering the 5th and 6th grades for the 2024-25 school year. Practices are held twice a week in the evenings and games are played on Saturday mornings. The season starts in late August and runs through mid-October. There are approximately 15-20 players per team. Students will learn the Tech Tiger fundamentals of blocking and tackling, develop both ball skills and take-away skills, and learn the offensive and defensive schemes and techniques used at Tech. Sportsmanship and teamwork will be emphasized throughout. 6th graders attending South Jr. High should sign up for the school they attended as 5th graders. Pads and other equipment will be provided. An informational letter will go out to all registrants in mid-August. A t-shirt will be provided (please indicate YOUTH S, M, L or ADULT S, M, L, XL, XXL). The Apollo Youth Tackle Football League is back for another successful season! This is a padded, full-contact league offered to students attending Discovery, Kennedy, Madison, Westwood, Lincoln, and North Junior High. All players must be entering 5th or 6th grade for the 2024-2025 school year. Your child will learn the basic football skills of blocking and tackling. In addition, your child will practice valuable life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship in an enthusiastic learning environment. Practices will be held two times per week at Apollo High School in the evenings and games will be played on Saturday mornings. Bring to football league: shoes, mouth guard, and plenty of water. Pads and other equipment will be provided.

My Little Horse Camp (Ages 2-5 with Caregiver)

Boulder Pointe Equestrian Campers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet several different horses at Boulder Pointe and learn how to groom the horses...all with a focus on safety! In addition, students will do an art project and have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. Stations are split into 15-minute intervals to keep everyone engaged. Parents have the opportunity to lead their child on the horse and take photographs as they go. Camps are held rain or shine. There is an outdoor and indoor arena. Proper attire includes sneakers or boots (closed toe with a heel), long pants and layers, depending on weather. ASTM/SEI certified helmets provided and required to be worn. This 2-hour camp is designed for parent/ guardian participation. Parent/Guardian is expected to remain with their child during the entire duration of the camp. Signed waiver forms are required and the link will be emailed to participants once they have registered for the camp. Bring to class: sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle and a nut-free snack. Kids will learn what it’s like to have a horse for a day! Campers get to ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas for 40min-50min (no trails), practice how to steer, stop, turn, and walk on their own. Registration for classes is open upon receipt of the catalog. Online registration announcements will be made available at www.isd742.org/CommunityEd.

CLASS CONFIRMATION

Unless we contact you, assume the course is held at the time and place indicated and that you are registered.

CANCELLATIONS

• Complete refund is given if a class is canceled or filled.

• A $5 cancellation fee plus direct expenses (materials, transportation, ticket and/or other class costs) will be charged if participants cancel a class within five working days and up to 24 hours prior to class.

• Classes canceled less than 24 hours in advance will not be refunded.

• A $5/15 minute late pick-up fee is due upon pick-up.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED

If participants are not 100% satisfied with a class, they can contact the Community Education Main Office at 320-370-8200 and we will gladly address your concerns.

SCHOOL CLOSINGS

If school closes during the day due to bad weather, Community Education will cancel all activities. Announcements are made on the District 742 website and local radio stations.

If you are eligible to receive financial assistance, it will consist of 50% of each class fee up to $20 per catalog. You must be a resident of District 742 to qualify. Verification required.
