In the ever changing world of fashion, nothing seems to be persistent. In fact, it is the constant rearrangement of dos and don’ts, places to go to and clothes to wear that provides the industry with its unique character: a branch rooted in the idea of reinvention that can renounceeverything but this exact tradition of non-traditionalism.
Fashion’s faces, however, do not seem to change very often. Interminable exposure has turned models and editors into the Industry’s embodiments, objects of admiration and subjects of power. While there is nothing wrong with Anna and Kate, we think it’s about time to place some new people in fashion’s front row. And why not ask them a couple of questions, make them draw something and have a look at their favourite personal belongings? Three people, three faces… Here we go.

Heba is a designer who has spent some time working for topshop before launching her own label Gypsygiggles recently.
