EDITO The GEM French Pavilion celebrates its 10th anniversary participating at the Furniture China Shanghai. The ideal occasion for buyers and specifiers from the Asian design community to (re)discover French savoirfaire and that its famous “French touch” in furniture design and manufacturing ! The GEM, the international department of l’Ameublement Français (French Furniture Industry) is an organization dedicated to helping French manufacturers to promote their brands in the export market. The GEM plays a central part in establishing a global export market strategy for the French Furniture Industry. This year, the French furniture design and manufacturing industry is represented by a total of 11 brands united under the motto My Furniture is French. Furniture China is a fabulous occasion for French furniture manufacturers to promote their expertise, stylishly designed products and emblematic
collections, whilst highlighting French art de vivre, elegance and creativity. • International buyer invitations. Around 300 guests processed every year at several events both in France and abroad for the export community . • Collective missions for market prospecting bridgeheads put into place in certain markets where comprehending the country is essential before any attempt is made at doing business. • Participation in the major international trade fairs via a collective presence (Milan - Salone del mobile, ICFF New York, Index Dubai, Shanghai - Furniture China, London - Decorex) .

founded in 1972 and is the third-largest flat-packed furniture manufacturer in France. The company has annual production of some 4.5 million pieces of furniture, 1.5 million worktops, and 15 Million square meters of laminate flooring in its 5 production sites. ALSAPAN has an ongoing capital investment program designed to meet market requirements associated with the continuous upgrading of its industrial processes. The company has always sought to drive and improve its production capacities and skills, and has frequently led the field in the use of new technologies. ALSAPAN joined the EPI group in 2007, and the company has a sound financial base which provides the guarantee for its future. Driven by a commercial, social and environmental ethic, ALSAPAN’s business is based on eco-friendly principles applied throughout the design and manufacturing process. Long experience and different partnerships set up with international customers have allowed ALSAPAN to build up an industry-leading manufacturing
expertise which has led to the company developing innovative techniques in its 4 production facilities : • Panel wrapping of furniture parts: ALSAPAN has 2 panel-wrapping production lines and is the only French manufacturer to have this resource and technology which it developed in 1994. • Laminate panel pressing. • Finish foil furniture. • An exclusive process for glueing edgebands. • Direct pressure lamination of worktops - a process unique in Europe developed by ALSAPAN for its Wasselonne facility. ALSAPAN’s membership of the EPI Group has allowed it to carry out a €25 million capital expenditure program over the last 4 years. There are 5 production facilities with a total surface area of over 155,000 m² dedicated to the production of specific products.

EBAC is a medium size company specialized in the
bedding industry since 1947. We have 100 employees but highly automated. In the early stages, we made slatted bed frames and then we started to produce mattresses few years later. Currently, we offer a wide range of bedding products which includes metal bed frames, electric motion beds and top quality mattresses.
SELINA
Since January 2014, Ebac has launched a new range and a trade mark: « SELINA » which can be distributed in the best shop dealers all over the world and this year Selina products are going to be presented as the new line, « le luxe ultime ».
MATT CLOUD
After the success of Selina, Ebac launched one new collection, The Matt Cloud collection, which is considered as the new trend in bedding. This range is made of 3 mattresses, with different layers of foam, and memory foam with soy oil.
PERFORMANCE
For mattresses, our products can always be found in specialized shops, for which we only send our bedding products with the best quality. In foreign markets, we have already exported our products to more than 50 countries around the world.

We’ve already participated 6 times consecutively at the China Furniture Expo in Shanghai and this since 2010. As a dynamic emerging country, there is no doubt that we are interested in developing this huge market. Until now, we’ve had a pleasant cooperation with our Chinese clients and suppliers, and we visit them in China several times every year in order to work closely with each other. We met several actual clients in Shanghai, so this year we would like to continue this positive trend in China. If it is possible, we can authorize distributors an exclusive right to sell our products in one Chinese province. Moreover, we are also looking forward to meet clients from all around the world in this famous Expo of furniture. Trust us, you can always find the best products with Ebac.
