Happy New Year!!! Happy New Year!! Brand new decade, and prayerfully a brand new you, if that is what you desire. What a monumental moment in time, to ride the wave of 2020, and into new beginnings. I don't know about for you, but the last decade, as with many of God's children, was a decade of speeding full ahead and redeeming the time, not like in any other time period that I remember. The press has been on and the pressure from God to get it done, not only in that full speed way, but also in a manner so that Christians would be ready. Read to meet and receive all that God has and is getting ready to do for his Kingdom and his children during this next two to three decades. Yes, it is true, we are far into the end times, however, God is sovereign, and what I have found as of late, is that when he says in his word (The Bible) that "His ways are higher " and "His thoughts are higher ", he means it. What might seem completely out of bound to us mere mortals, or even unorthodox at times, trust and believe, God knows what he is doing. Although many of us may not have liked certain situations, or perhaps have even felt extremely uncomfortable or stretched to capacity in other situations, we have to know that everything was working for our good and in our favor. So, with that said, sit back, relax and enjoy reading this publication.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

is a generational curse breaker. Her story, tied with her mission, is one of the most riveting and poignant stories that I have ever heard. The outcome or result has been one of unyielding strength, self discovery, purpose and love. Sandra possess a determination masked by a larger than life assignment of healing and restoring individuals and families so that they may fulfill their life's calling and destiny. It is no secret among those who know her intimately that at five years old, Sandra was abducted, raped, severely beaten, then later found thanks largely to what she likes to refer to as an "Inner GPS Tracking System", or her "Master Escape Artist" ability. As a Christian, I have to believe that at some point, a nudging must have come from the Holy-Spirit, urging her to to leave and "escape" the place where she was hidden, as she did just that. Her e is h er st or y.

Q:T ell u s you r n am e, an d t ell u s a lit t le bit abou t you r back gr ou n d an d w h o you r ar e? A: My name is Sandra Renea Northard. My mother spelled my [middle] name Renea, but according to my birth certificate, it's Renee. I was born in Mobile, AL. I went to school. I had pretty much, as far as I can remember, a typical childhood. Then apparently my mom met my father. I guess he was making a U-turn, somewhere by my grandmothers house, and he met my mom. They dated. I don't remember

what year we moved to Chicago. So, we're living up in Chicago, Illinois. I remember staying in a high rise building, because it was in Chicago. I remember my father 's sister 's, my aunties. One aunt's name was Suzie. The other auntie, her name was Essie. I had an uncle Harold. I can't remember my other uncle's name, but I remember having a good time with them. We would go over on the weekends. They would play cards, the kid's would play outside, it's very safe for me. Very typical if you will. Then apparently my mom got pregnant with my sister Sonya. And, I don't know how this came about, but my mom was working during the day, and my father worked overnight. So, my mom, I guess she needed help with raising us, or raising me. So my mom

sent for my mother 's sister when my baby was born. My auntie came down from Alabama, to help my mom. My mom was probably 21, or something like that. I can't remember everything that happened, but I remember the night before asking my mother to wear this little green outfit. It was a green wrap around skirt. And the shirt that went with it was a little turtle neck. It was light green and the shirt was a different darker green. The next morning I was on my way to school, my mom was working and my dad and my auntie were watching me. And somehow I don't know if I thought, or got permission to leave the house, but I did. I ended up outside. I believe it was, it was pretty cold outside that day. And I don't know how I was approached, but I was approached. This African-American male, a

stranger, got me to go with him. I remember making a left. We walked down the alley, while walking down the alley, I distinctly remember him waving at neighbors, because they were high rise buildings as I indicated. He was waving at neighbors, so he was familiar in the neighborhood from what I cam remember. So we ultimately ended up in a basement. I don't remember how this ordeal began, but I do remember him getting a glass. In the 1970's, they had colored glass. Like for example, like the 7-Up (Soda) bottles were green. He opened up my legs. I remember him cutting me, which seemed for hours. I don't remember any pain. I guess tried to penetrate me. I don't know how far that went, but I do know that I was penetrated. Then, I guess he tried to get rid of me, that night they began to search .

I remember hearing like running water in the sink. He tied my hands up behind my back. Like I told you with that wrap-around skirt I asked my mom to wear. So he tied my hands up with that skirt. I remember him pulling my hair. I had really long, pretty hair. He pulled my hair, and I remember my little body spinning you know, in the air. He would hit me. And as he hit me, my little body would turn, like a little rag doll, my little body spun around. So, he beat me for a little while. Then he tried to drown me. He placed my head under water. I remember my head going under water three times. I remember the faucet because it was...an ordeal. When he done, he left. I remember him closing the door,I couldn't get out....I couldn't get out. I was

exhausted. I remember there was like another cement wall there and it had a mattress standing upright. At five years old, I pulled that mattress down from off of the wall and I went to sleep. I got up the next morning I knew I had to get out of there. In that basement, there was a glass window. The window was pretty high, this particular window had texture on it. It had like little bubbles if you will,I will never forget that texture on the window, it was connected to one silver chain, then another silver chain. I remember throwing rocks at the window trying to get someones attention. I then began to focus on the door. I was trying to lift it but the door I know was like metal. It was rusty metal, and it was like a little key hole there. I began to scream my address through the little keyhole. I couldn?t remember my phone number, I wanted to get out of there. I

don't know how long it took for someone to get me. I don't remember someone actually coming in to get me. But the next thing I do remember is being at the hospital or either the police station. It was one of those places, I remember speaking to an officer and he asked me to please draw a description of the person. And I guess I did my best because the only thing I remember asking him could I draw three fingers, because I don't know how to draw five. I don't remember him answering, or asking "oh what did he look like?" or anything. So,... that's the last part of that I can recall. I don't remember my mom or auntie or my father coming to pick me up. I don't remember an examination, I don't remember talking to anyone. To Be Con t in u ed...

"This is my Dad, I'm his daughter. He murdered two people, his father and stepmom. Yep, there was plenty of cussing going on. I'm still running for freedom." San dr a Nor t h ar d

W in t er Bliss By St eph an ie L. M axw ell-Robles Winter is such an extraordinary time of year. When was the last time you enjoyed a bundled day simply enjoying life? How about taking a brisk walk in your favorite park, or a snowboard ride down a snow covered hill? It may sound child-like, but you would be amazingly surprised what an out of the ordinary day of reviving the kid in you can do. There is also such a freedom that comes with just that, being free. Being free not to worry about bills, work-place or home drama, or just situations and circumstances that are out of your control. But rather, seizing an opportunity to spend time alone with the Lord, your children, your family, or your friends. This type of partaking doesn't cost a thing...other than your time. What will be your Winter Bliss this season?
