BEING THANKFUL November is such an amazing time of the year. As one celebrates the holidays with family, friends, and good cheer, one also has the ability to slow down, reflect, process the passing year and think on the new one coming. November is always such a pivotal point because although we want to relax, and we should as we can, as Christians and living in this day and age, we know that there is so much more at stake. As we prepare to enter once again a new year, the urge is for many, and as it should be to close out the current year in a manner that does your heart, mind, body , and soul justice. We like to call it "finishing strong"! So as you contemplate that well-balance, yet still tantalizingly delicious Thanksgiving meal, in addition to completing those year-end task, while still maintaining the proper balance between the kids, your spouse/significant other, additional family members as well as career/job, we also want you to take a moment to remember to be thankful. No matter how challenging the days may seem, we all have something to be thankful for. With that said, please read our exclusive interview with cover and Prophetess Latoyl Whittington. This powerful woman of God has something to say, and we hope that her words will inspire, uplift, and encourage you this holiday season.

P r oph et ess Lat oyl Wh it t in gt on

is an amazing young, woman of God. I had the opportunity to be exposed, not only to her powerful preaching and teaching, but also to her anointed and prophetic messages from God, and all through social media. Amazingly, not only is Ms. Whittington being used mightily by God during this significant hour, also, as a Black woman, she continually dispels myths and provides wisdom, knowledge, and clarification all from a Biblical, spiritual and Kingdom perspective. Here is her story...

Q:T ell u s you r n am e, an d t ell u s a lit t le bit abou t you r back gr ou n d? A: I am a n at ive of Sou t h Car olin a. I am also t h e 7t h ch ild bor n t o M u r dock an d Ella Wh it t in gt on. When my mother realized she was pregnant, she became upset because she didn't want another child. After contemplating abortion, one of the prayer warriors in her circle encourage her not to have an abortion. She said, "One day your children will be a blessing to you".

Prophetess Whittington attended public schools. She later pursued a degree in Social Work at South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, SC. She accepted Christ at the age of 18 under the leadership of Dr. Ella Crawford of New Birth Ministries. Prophetess Whittington was ordained as an Evangelist in September of 2001. She was later ordained as a Prophetess in June 2003 under the leadership of Dr. Ella Crawford.

Q: How did you get st ar t ed in M in ist r y? A: Ministry has always been apart of my life. As a child, I watched my mother travel to various territories teaching and preaching the word of God. At a young age, I knew the call of God was upon my life. Growing up in school, I felt different. I didn't have many friends. I was alone most of the time. I always felt unique. My alone time was spent preaching to my dolls on my mother 's wooden trash can. As a child something in me love to preach. Although I didn't understand everything that pertained to ministry and God, I knew one day I would preach to nations. When I was really young I recall my mother always taking my siblings and I to

church. During that time, I didn't understand the difference between Pentecostal Church and other churches. As a child, I attended some revival meetings at our local church. It was [during one] night in the Pentecostal church in which my mother received the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. At this church the Bishop would spend hours praying for souls, people were always speaking in tongues, and prophesying. A few years later one of the leaders Pastor Michael Goings began a ministry in Riverdale, SC. My mother was an active part of the Outreach Church in Riverdale, SC. She served on the user board for several years. She was later ordained as an Evangelist and called to the prophetic. From a young age, I was

exposed to the prophetic ministry by [my] mother 's role as an Apostle of New Birth Ministries in Roanoke Rapids, NC. Being reared in church I took an interest in prayer. I grew up in an era where church shut-ins were pertinent. Church shut-ins occurred several times per year. A church shut-in was held when the spirit of God prompted the leader to unify the people for the purpose of seeking him in prayer. Church shut-ins consisted of staying awake throughout the night to edify Christ through prayer, sharing testimonies, sharing scriptures, listening to music, and being guided by the Holy Spirit. My mother inspired me in various ways. She influenced my ministry by instilling the importance of prayer.

Dr. Ella taught me how to hear the voice of God just as Eli taught the prophet Samuel to hear the voice of God. Initially I felt different from other individuals my age, especially in college. There were times that God would speak to me concerning other individuals. There were times I would share the word of the Lord, and there were times I would not. I realized although I understood the prophetic, many individuals would not understand how God speaks to his prophets. Q: Tell m e a lit t le bit abou t you r m om bein g in M in ist r y. A: My mother, Dr. Ella Crawford is the founder of Old Landmark New Birth Ministries of Roanoke Rapids, NC. She has 42 years of experience in the Gospel through preaching, teaching, prophecy, deliverance , miracles

healings, and being a spiritual mother. She is the natural mother of four living and two deceased children, a counselor, mentor, Apostle, Prophet and prayer warrior. She was affirmed to the office of an Apostle on January 24, 2004. She holds a Doctorate Degree in Divinity and several certifications in theological studies. In 2003 she founded One Accord Fellowship International Alliance which is an Apostolic network that brings ministries and pastors together for the purpose of enhancing spiritual gifts, increasing spiritual knowledge and empowering disciples to advance in the kingdom of God. Q: How h as you r m ot h er in f lu en ced you ?

My mother is definitely one of a kind. She's both tough and loving. Although she's bold, she is also compassionate. She's taught me how to endure. No matter what happens in life her favorite words are, "Prophetess, trust God". I recall a situation that occurred a few years ago. As a result of the outcome of the situation, I was angry and bitter. For about a week, I didn't want to pray. I wanted God to produce a different outcome. I recall her saying "My God is never wrong in his decision making. In spite of it all, we must continue to trust God". Q: Wh at is God doin g du r in g t h is h ou r ? A: I believe in this hour God is turning the hearts of his people. As a result, we will

see a harvest of Souls come to Christ. In John 4:35 it says the fields are already ripe for the harvest.

God that he could not do it himself, being slow of speech. Aaron also became an instrument of God in the miracles that convinced Pharaoh to let the Hebrew people go. When God assigned Moses to free the enslaved Hebrews, Moses expressed self-doubt (Exodus 4:13). Aaron stepped up as a strengthening partner throughout the ordeal, then later led the people in formalized worship of God in the wilderness. I believe in this hour, we will need partners that will stand with us and strengthen us in completing our assignment. Aaron's role was to develop a strategic plan that would match the plan of God. I believe by operating from a teamwork strategy, it will allow Pastors to expand at an accelerated pace in 2020.
