Rebuild Your Community! REBUILD! That is the word from God. Time has prevailed and God has uniquely positioned you to receive the blessings of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. Yes, it's your birthright. Our communities, some of them, are in shambles and God has given you to tools the rebuild and set the record straight. Our children need schools and systems that honor them and not neglect them. You, Black Man are what is needed to go back and establish ground for, not only your self, but also your people. Sit at the head of your table, spend time with your children and wife. Encourage them, inspire them, uphold them, and you will be doing the same for yourself. Take the time to get to know yourself. Draw up blue prints, go into construction and general contracting. Sit at the heads of tables and on boards, and in boardrooms that will make decisions that will impact your community from here on out. Make wise choices and decisions and use your blue print as a map and guiding light to you. You must move forward in this hour and never give up because this time, you will win! Anchor yourself in the lord, and start to build again.

FAM ILY VALUES By St eph an ie L. M axw ell-Robles Family Values...does your family have them? It is important to understand how values outlined as a set of rules and expectations impact our world and society. At best, family value is the underlining core and principals associated with living in a thriving, healthy, and satisfying world. We create value everyday. From the things we say to people, from the way we treat them, etc. Value determines something's worth. It determines how we hold that something in our precious little hands to mirror or marvel at. Value is ultimately what Jesus Christ did when he died on the cross showing and giving us the mind set that life matters, your life matters, and the way we treat people in this life time matters. Value is a measure of importance that we place upon a thing. How you value life will determine how you live it. If you value education , you will obtain it. If you value work, you will obtain employment. Values in life determine and set the structure of how our families will operate, also. Clear and distinct values are necessary for a thriving and successful culture. We must have an atmosphere of mutual respect to see each other's point of view and determine which is the best course of action to take. Wisdom will carry you a long way. If it is not demonstrated, it will not be obtained. We must teach our children the value of life through our values. Each life matter's and represents a fundamental unit in the grand scope of Gods will and purpose here on earth. Treat your family with regard, and love. Define what is important for you and your family and place it on your wall so that each parent, child, and additional family see what is important. "Train a child up in the way he should go, and when he isold, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6 (KJV) This message is so very important as it equates to the measure of wealth that is instilled in a child during the development process of the early years. We must teach our children this early. Value.

This growing epidemic of Grandparents taking care of their grandchildren on a full-time basis as their primary care-givers, and after having already raised their own children. If you are like many, you may be wondering, why? With the exception of the death of a parent, according to www.aarp.org, while still dealing with or
working through their own situations, "Many grandparents are raising grandchildren because their children are facing their own difficulties", and "A significant portion is doing so because the middle generation can't handle the duties of child-rearing". According to www.ag.ndsu.edu "The reason a grandparent
may provide needed care for a grandchild vary and can include: Parent has an addiction or difficulties with alcohol or drugs....Parent has mental health challenges or emotional problems....[or] Child neglect, abandonment or abuse." Again, according to www.ag.ndsu.edu, here is a more specific list of potential reason's why a child is cared for by a grandparent: 1. While the enemy continues on his mantra to "steal, kill, and destroy" James 10:10 (KJV), families must continue to gird themselves with the leading, guiding, direction and following of Jesus Christ, as well as the continued following of God's word (The Bible) and his commands. We must continue to
build strong families, strong foundations and even stronger systems of support. Here are some facts in closing taken from www.ag.ndsu.edu: "Grandparents are very important and influential people to grandchildren of all ages...if you are a grandparent raising a grand child, you may need to work at defining your new role and establishing a positive relationship with your grand child. the circumstances that put you in this position have a big impact on how your role develops. Keep in mind that the child is not responsible for the situation and should not be put in a position of being blamed or shamed. You have an exciting opportunity to guide your grandchild toward becoming the responsible adult that you envision." We wholeheartedly agree!
