PELVIC STOOL

furniture design | woodwork Created during my exchange year in Finland, pelvic stool is a rocking stool that strengthens your back while sitting, through a rocking motion.

To achieve the correct sitting position you can either rest your feet on the rocking legs or on the ground. Used as an desk chair for children and teenagers it prevents them from getting early back problems from sitting in a static position.

The shape is meant to fit to the human body, being sculptural and unique at the same time.
