SanMar wins inaugural Diaper Derby Local businesses collect 35,405 diapers
This month we all watched with amazement as American Pharaoh became the first horse to win the Triple Crown in 37 years! Just two days before there was another horse making history of its own as Horse Authority, owned by Issaquah-based
SanMar, became the Triple Crown winner in the inaugural Eastside Baby Corner Diaper Derby by collecting 11,148 diapers for local children in need. Division winners for the race include: Heritage Bank’s horse, Heritage Hero who collected 4,722 diapers, Coldstream Capital Management who collected 2,293 diapers and Michael’s Chevrolet & Toyota’s horse, Michael’s Horse Power, who collected 6,768 diapers. Collectively, all of the participating
businesses contributed 35,405 diaper changes for kids in need. Read more about the event at eastsidebabycorner.wordpress.com.
