This tour takes you on a boat up the Nam Song River to the Organic Farm and a Hmong village. It provides ample time to relax at a waterfall. The guide will pick you up at the Riverside Boutique Resort and take you to the nearby pier where long-tail boats will be waiting for you. We will follow the Nam Song upstream for a bit more than half an hour to reach the Organic Farm where you will be shown mulberry plantations. These trees are the basis for many organic commodities like silk, tea, wine, and others. With a minivan we will travel to a resettled Hmong community. The guide will give you some interesting insights into the history of this large but widespread ethnic group. The last stop is the Kengyui waterfall, about 10 km away, where you can swim or relax in a tranquil atmosphere. You will be back at the hotel in time for lunch. This tour can be extended to a few hours in the afternoon after a lunch in a nice resort in the outskirt of Vang Vieng. Guest pays lunch ‘a la carte’. We recommend that you bring sun cream, hats, and bathing suits should you with to swim.
