MOONSHINE CANDY POPS
These crushed candy lollipops make great gifts or garnishes for your drinks. Make them in bulk because they won’t last long. 1 bag rock candy 2 ounces plain moonshine, plus 1 tablespoon 2 tablespoons water ž cup granulated sugar 3 tablespoons corn syrup pinch of salt
Crush rock candy and place it on a silicon mat in small piles or in lollipop molds. Add moonshine, water, sugar, corn syrup, and salt to a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves. Cover and boil for a few minutes without stirring. Remove from the heat, add the tablespoon of plain moonshine, and mix. Using a spoon, quickly drop 2-inch discs of the mixture on top of the crushed candy in the mold or on the mat. Place a lollipop stick into the center of each disc, and twist the stick until it's completely covered in the mixture. Let the pops cool, and store overnight in an airtight container.
