We welcome you to our worship service this morning and pray that you will be blessed in the presence of the Lord Jesus. It is our desire to glorify God as a community of Christ followers who love God, love people, and make disciples because Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. If you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus or have questions about your faith, please feel free to speak with Pastor Cliff, Pastor Phil or one of the Elders.
Communication Cards ~ please feel free to use these cards to ask for prayer or to update information.
If you are a visitor, we would like to have a record of your visit. Cards may be placed in the offering plate or given to an usher on your way out of the sanctuary. Poinsettia Orders Consider helping us decorate our sanctuary for Christmas with the donation of a poinsettia or two in memory or honor of someone dear to you. The money received will be used to purchase live poinsettias and silk flowers for year round arrangements. The cost of the poinsettias is $22. Place your donation in a "flower envelope" found in the pew racks, then put it in the offering plate or bring/send it to the church no later than December 10th. A listing of those remembered and by whom will be included in the church bulletin. If you have any questions, please contact Kathy Kelly.
PRIMETIMERS LUNCHEON It’s that time of the year for the Primetimer’s Christmas luncheon which will be held at 12noon on Thursday, December 6th. We will be having a variety of Ken’s soups and once again we will be privileged to have Mike Saccocio from the Schenectady City Mission as our guest speaker. We would like to help the City Mission during the holidays by giving unwrapped toys for their toy store or gloves, mittens, scarves, etc for the residents. Please call Gail Heckeler at 399-4110 or Velma Rhodenizer at 399-1957 to RSVP
ChurchChurch-Wide Memory Program Please sign up for our Church-wide Memory Program in the Foyer. We encourage you and your family to take our 30 day challenge and spend some time every day memorizing scripture and applying it to your life. We are presently memorizing scriptures on how to treat each other. It is never too late to start! See more details in the Foyer.

CITY MISSION-TOY STORE COLLECTION Each year, for 3 days in December, The Schenectady City Mission transforms itself into an amazing toy store. This is the place local families can come and Celebrate the Christmas season by selecting toys (free of charge) for their children. This year, our church family would like to participate by focusing on a toy collection for the teen boys and girls up to age 14. Items such as hair products, nail polish, fashion scarves, headphones, fashion bags, sports caps, footballs, basketballs, bath products, body spray etc. are welcomed. Be creative! Bring your items to the Giving Chest located in the Hall of Missions no later than Sunday Dec. 16th and help us be a blessing to our community!
Do you like to work with children? Do you want to be a part of teaching them about Jesus and His love for them? Are you a member of EGCC? We are looking for Junior Church teachers starting in the spring. The children are in two classes: 4 years old - 1st graders and 2nd -4th graders. The classes meet during the second half of the Sunday Worship Service. We would provide you with curriculum which includes activities as well as a Bible lesson. There is a rotating schedule, on which you would teach once every 5-6 weeks. This is a great way to serve our families at EGCC. It’s exciting to see children's enthusiasm and wonder as they learn about the God who loves them in an interactive setting. If you are interested in volunteering and/or have questions about this opportunity, please contact Susan Perregaux at 384-7296.
Come and pray for our church and its leaders. We will meet in rooms 5 & 6 on the 2nd & 3rd Tuesdays of each month and pray for our church and its leaders while the Boards and Elders have their meetings.
