Youth Classes and Creative Space

“Art from A(bstract) to Z(oo animal)”

Instructor: Meg Louwsma Every Monday and Tuesday morning July 5 - August 10 10:00 am - Noon $15 (Benzie Co. Residents $10) per class A is for architecture and Andy Warhol… B is for birds on the beach… C is for charcoal and colors and collage… D is for drawing and design… P is for printmaking and painting outdoors... R is for reflections and realism and rocks… S is for shadows sushi paper collage… You get the idea! Every class will be a few letters of the alphabet and some element of art, a specific technique or subject matter. Supplies are provided by OAC. Ages 7 and up. Meg is a long-time art instructor and studio artist specializing in fabric surface design and printmaking. She has been the lead art instructor for OAC's elementary outreach art and dance program, MOSAIC, for 13 years.

Creative Space and Library

Perfect for that rainy day or Saturday morning when you are looking for something to do with the kids. There are different activities for kids 7 and up including artist curated, selfguided art projects, puzzles, games, and books. The Creative Space is open during our regular gallery hours. There is no charge and everyone is welcome!
