Who's Who in the Company HAILEY BAROK '27 (Narrator) Hailey is so excited to be part of the Into the Woods cast. She has been doing performing arts since elementary school, and is deeply thrilled to continue her artistic passions as a St. Francis High School freshman. AUGUST BRIGGS '25 (Cinderella’s Father) August is excited to be in a second show with St. Francis. August is a junior at Jesuit High School and loves all things performing arts. SELAH BURNLEY '25 (Steward) Selah is thrilled to share into the woods with you all today. This is her 3rd theater production at St. francis and she would like to thank herself for the dedication (and her parents). MIAH COVARRUBIAS '24 (Grandmother/ Narrator & Asst. Director) Miah is grateful for the lovely opportunity to participate in this year's musical in her final year at Saint Francis. ELLA D’INCECCO '25 (Baker’s Wife) This is Ella’s 3rd show at St. Francis and she is so excited to be performing one of her favorite musicals! She dedicates this show to her family and friends, who have always supported her and her passions. ASHLEY ERNST '26 (Narrator) Ashley is so excited to be in her second production at St. Francis. She is so thankful for the amazing cast and crewshe is a part of, and she hopes you enjoy the show!
NOELLE FISHER '26 (Narrator) Noelle is thrilled to be playing Milky White in her second show at St. Francis. She was most recently seen as Logainne in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. She has been involved in musical theater for 7 years and has performed in over 15 shows. DONNIE GREASON (Rapunzel’s Prince) Donnie is grateful to be in his first St.Francis Theater production. He thanks his family for all of their support throughout the audition, callback, and rehearsal process. MIKAELA HERNANDEZ ‘24 (Narrator) Mikaela is grateful for the opportunity to be part of her first theater production at St. Francis High School. She is deeply passionate about the arts, and is optimistic for what is to come. GRACE HOLLEMAN ‘24 (Jack’s Mother) Grace Holleman is excited to be on the Saint Francis stage again after being in the one act, The Rainbow Goblins, as Yellow! She is grateful to Kiera, her family, friends, and the talented actors she has been working with during this production. KATHERINE HWANG '27 (Little Red Riding Hood) Kate is excited to participate in her first St. Francis theater production. She would like to thank her mother for the countless nights of fairy-tale readings, and her dad for always singing with her - she wouldn’t be here without them.
Who's Who in the Company MATEO INOCENCIO '24 (Narrator) This is Mateo Inocencio’s first musical production. He likes cats. ISABELLE JOHNSON '25 (Narrator) Isabelle Tacas Johnson is ecstatic to be a part of this year's production of Into the Woods! She wants to thank her family and friends for their unconditional love and support. She hopes you enjoy the show! KATE KASTEN '24 (Cinderella & Asst. Vocal Director) Kate is excited to be in Into The Woods for her second time! She has performed at SFHS in Spelling Bee (Leaf Coneybear) and Antigone (Chorus). She could not have done this without her supportive family, boyfriend and friends. OLIVIA KING '24 (Lucinda) Olivia is so thrilled to be in her first show at St. Francis! Performing has always been one of her passions, and she is excited to be able to share the stage with her friends in Into the Woods. STELLA KINNEY '24 (Cinderella’s Step mother) With previous experience playing Panch in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Antigone in Antigone, Stella Kinney is an active participant in the theater arts. She is so excited to partake in her third show at Saint Francis!
VIOLET KINNEY '25 (Narrator) Violet Kinney is so excited to be doing her first theater production here at Saint Francis. She is a junior at Saint Francis. She is also a singer/songwriter, who is trying to step out of her comfort zone and try acting. CHLOE LAIRD '24 (Narrator) This is Chloë's second production at St. Francis, and also her first musical. She is elated to have the chance to work with such a large and talented company, and would like to thank her parents for their constant encouragement. KEVIN LEACH ‘24 (Cinderella’s Prince/ Wolf) Kevin is very excited to be in his first ever production! In his free time he enjoys filmmaking and creative writing. LUCY LEDERER ‘26 (Florinda) Lucy is delighted to be a part of her first St. Francis production! She is so grateful to work with this incredible group of people! Big shout out to her sister Mia: truly the greatest star. So proud of you! MIA LEDERER '24 (Narrator) Mia is a Senior at St Francis, and is thrilled to be making her theater debut in this production. She would like to thank her sister Lucy for her constant support and encouragement throughout this process.
Who's Who in the Company MIKAYLA MAGRI '27 (Narrator) Mikayla is ecstatic to have her debut performance with SFHS Into the Woods. She played various roles with Musical Mayhem Productions, a local musical theater, and in her school before her Freshman year. She is thankful to her parents for their support in her love for theater. KIERA MCMANUS '26 (Jack) Kiera is very excited to perform in her very first musical here at Saint Francis. She couldn’t have done it without her best friend, Milky-White, who has been with her every step of the way. XAVIER MEYERS '24 (Narrator) Xavier is excited for his first production. In his free time he enjoys piña coladas, and getting' caught in the rain. Xavier is not into yoga, and those without half a brain. EMMA NAZARENO '24 (Mysterious Man) Emma is hyped to be doing her second show at St. Francis! She has taken Ms. Kiera's theater class all four years of high school! She is also the president of Origami Club, who made some of the props. Enjoy! KATE O’NEILL '26 (Narrator) Be ready for the journey as you experience Kate’s second SF show! FAITH OLIVER '25 (Cinderella’s Mother/ Narrator & Dance Captain) Faith is extremely honored to be in her sixth St. Francis Theater production. She could not do this without the support of her sister Paige who has always supported all of her artistic endeavors. AMAYA PANGILINAN '24 (The Witch & Asst. Director) Amaya is beyond excited to be playing the Witch and Assistant Direct in her 5th SF production! She is also a Co-President of the SF Show Choir, and recently has gotten her Private Pilot License. Enjoy the show! EMMA SHIRIN WATSON ‘24 (Rapunzel) Emma Shirin Watson is excited to play the part of Rapunzel in St. Francis’ production of Into the Woods! She'd like to thank her mom, stepdad, brother, sister, and all family and friends for their relentless support. Enjoy the show! BRADY STEPHENS ‘24 (The Baker) Brady Stephens is delighted to be in this amazing cast! Brady is a senior at Pioneer High and was last seen in their show, The Addams Family (Gomez). Thank you to Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Harris for this opportunity! SOPHIA HENDRIX '24 (Stage Manager) Sophia is proud to share this extraordinary production with everyone! Who's Who in the Company AVA BORCHERS '24 (Asst. Stage Manager) Ava is super excited to be a part of another musical at St Francis and has been a part of productions such as Joseph, Babette’s Feast, Spelling Bee and many other shows. She is so thankful to the tech crew for all the amazing memories made. ISABELLA MANLEY '26 (Asst. Stage Manager) Isabella is looking forward to working on her third show here at Saint Francis. She was part of the Wardrobe Department for Spelling Bee, and was Assistant Stage Manager for Antigone. Enjoy the show! ROUELLE PERRERIA '26 (Company Manager) Rou is insanely excited to be doing her fourth production at St. Francis. She cannot wait to see where she goes from here, and she couldn't do this without the support from her friends, family, and her two cats. JEREMY TOY (Technical Director/Scenic & Lighting Design) Bringing his talents and knowledge to SFHS from Delaware, Jeremy has been a member of the St. Francis community since 2019. He teaches the technical theatre class and supervises the Tech Club as well as serving as Scenic and Lighting Designer for SF Arts Productions. You can also find him running audio/visual for on campus events around school. He would like to thank his fianceé Gina for her unending love and support.
KIERA ANDERSON (Director/Theatre Program Artistic Director) Kiera Anderson is an actor, choreographer, director, teaching artist and arts education advocate. Kiera graduated from New York University in 2002 with a BFA in Theatre, where she also taught yoga for actors at Tisch School of the Arts/CAP21. After 10 years as a professional actor, working offBroadway, in New York, and regional theatres across the country (member, Actors Equity Association), Kiera moved to Los Angeles to be with her husband, actor Bradford Anderson. Kiera has always been passionate about access to arts education, and has taught workshops and classes for young people since 2002. As Director of Community Outreach and Operations for the DEA Educational Foundation, Kiera was honored to help thousands of students receive access to dance education and other youth classes through the DEAEF Youth Programs. She teaches at several educational theatre programs throughout Sacramento, including Musical Mayhem Productions, Cosumnes River College and Broadway Sacramento. Kiera holds a M.Ed in Drama in Education through University of Dublin, Trinity College and is currently pursuing an Ed.D in Educational Leadership and Innovation at New York University. She is Mom to two amazing children, Juna and Finola.
Who's Who in the Company JAMES LAPINE (Book) James Lapine is a playwright and director. On Broadway he has worked with Stephen Sondheim on Sunday in the Park with George; Into the Woods; and Passion. He also conceived and directed the musical review Sondheim on Sondheim. With William Finn he created Falsettos recently revived by Lincoln Center Theater; Little Miss Sunshine; Muscle; and directed Finn's The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Other Broadway credits include his play based on Moss Hart's memoir Act One (also LCT), Amour, The Diary of Anne Frank, Golden Child, and Dirty Blonde. He has written the plays Table Settings, Twelve Dreams, The Moment When, Fran's Bed and Mrs. Miller Does Her Thing. Lapine has been nominated for eleven Tony Awards, winning on three occasions. He has also been the recipient of the Pulitzer Prize, SDC's Mr. Abbott Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theater, and inducted into the Theater Hall of Fame.
STEPHEN SONDHEIM (Music & Lyrics) STEPHEN SONDHEIM wrote the music and lyrics for Saturday Night (1954), A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM (1962), ANYONE CAN WHISTLE (1964), COMPANY (1970), FOLLIES (1971), A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC (1973), THE FROGS (1974), PACIFIC OVERTURES (1976), SWEENEY TODD (1979), MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG (1981), SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE (1984), INTO THE WOODS (1987), ASSASSINS (1991), PASSION (1994) and ROAD SHOW (2008) as well as lyrics for WEST SIDE STORY (1957), GYPSY (1959) and DO I HEAR A WALTZ? (1965) and additional lyrics for CANDIDE (1973). Anthologies of his work include SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM (1976), MARRY ME A LITTLE (1981), YOU'RE GONNA LOVE TOMORROW (1983), PUTTING IT TOGETHER (1993/99) and SONDHEIM ON SONDHEIM (2010). He composed the scores of the films "Stavisky" (1974) and "Reds" (1981) and songs for "Dick Tracy" (1990) and the television production "Evening Primrose" (1966). His collected lyrics with attendant essays have been published in two volumes: "Finishing the Hat" (2010) and "Look, I Made A Hat" (2011). In 2010 Broadway's Henry Miller's Theatre was renamed The Stephen Sondheim Theatre in his honour; in 2019, London's Queens Theatre was also renamed the Sondheim.
