Letter from the President
Dear Friends of St. Francis Catholic High School,
Welcome to A Night in the Museum, Behind the Ropes, our Ninth Annual Revelry event. This evening celebrates a year-long effort by our hardworking Revelry Committee under the leadership of our magnificent chairs, Angela Kufasimes Gianulias ’86 (Antonia ’17) and Flo Kahn (Megan ’17). They, along with all those who have prepared for this evening, have poured incredible time, creativity and passion into this evening which contributes significantly to the stewardship of our young Troubadours. We extend a very special thank you to our Revelry Sponsors, especially our Presenting Sponsors Pam and Steve Eggert (Julia ’15) as well as John Cook (Cathleen ’79 and Laurie ’81) for their continued commitment to the mission of St. Francis Catholic High School. Through the generosity of our Revelry guests, the “Hands Up for Troubies” items over the years have provided state-of-the-art upgrades to our campus, including the introduction of the one-to-one iPad program, a media arts program and upgraded furnishings for the new dining hall. This year, “Hands Up for Troubies” will focus on providing additional tuition assistance for aspiring young Troubies. We ask you to raise your paddle for “Scholarship Assistance for Troubies.” Each year we receive applications for tuition assistance nearly double what we are able to provide. This means nearly 10% of accepted students are not able to meet the financial obligation to attend St. Francis. Your support will enable more young women to experience the four years that last a lifetime. On behalf of all the young women who benefit from your generosity, I offer my sincere gratitude. You help provide them with the life-changing St. Francis experience, offering opportunities to know God, appreciate their unique gifts and talents, understand their responsibility in the world and be of service to others. Our graduates embody the values and characteristics of our patron, St. Francis of Assisi, and our pillars of faith, excellence, leadership and service. Your support helps “St. Francis graduate young women who change the world!” In the Spirit of Pax et Bonum,
Margo Reid Brown ’81 President

Letter from the Chairs Dear Revelry Supporters & Patrons, The night has finally come for us to gather together and celebrate our St. Francis Community. As Co-Chairs of Revelry 2014 - A Night in the Museum: Behind the Ropes, we have been deeply touched by the spirit and commitment of the many parents, students, facility and staff who have worked tirelessly to see this night come to fruition. We are truly humbled and grateful to have been a part of such a special team. Over these many months, we have worked together to make tonight a success for the benefit of this incredible school. Revelry proceeds are used for every aspect of our daughters’ enrichment. This year, a dedicated portion of our proceeds will be used for scholarship so that more young women may have the opportunity to experience the “joys of being a Troubie.” We wouId be remiss if we did not acknowledge some very special sponsors who were key in reaching our goal this evening. John Cook, Jr., Pam & Steven Eggert, Kelli & Neil Huettenhain (NorthStar at Rancho Cordova, Assisted Living), Kathy & Pat McClain (Hanson McClain Advisors) and Nancy & Rob Sbisa (Wells Fargo Bank), your continued generosity is a tangible expression of your deep commitment to the mission of St. Francis Catholic High School. On behalf of the many young women who will benefit from your support we thank you. To the Revelry Committee, our sincerest thanks for your months of hard work. The St. Francis community is blessed to have such dedicated volunteers. Your creativity, relentless drive and organization brought Revelry to life. We must also acknowledge some amazing individuals who were instrumental in the success of Revelry 2014. Tracy Beckwith, Melissa Deiro and Jessica Mindt, your energy, patience, work ethic and dedication to the St. Francis community know no bounds. You truly make a difference in the lives of our Troubadors. We are so lucky to have you to guide our efforts! We would also like to thank our family and friends who have supported us throughout the months leading up to Revelry. Your support and encouragement sustained us on this journey. Finally, we would like to thank the St. Francis faculty, staff, administrators and teachers who commit themselves to the ministry of educating our daughters and helping them to live full, responsible and meaningful lives. We are excited to share this “Night in the Museum” with you. Cheers!
Many thanks and blessings,

29) HANDS UP FOR TROUBIES - Scholarship Fund
The Objective: To provide additional scholarship resources to meet the increasing need of students who desire the all-girl environment and excellent educational opportunities at St. Francis Catholic High School. The Need: Every year applications for financial assistance have increased beyond what the available grants can provide. Over the last seven years, requests have increased by more than 250% - with our ability to meet only an average of 50% of the demonstrated need each year. Currently, 24% of total enrollment receives financial assistance and per student awards have increased 20% over the years to an average award of $4,850 in 2014. Significantly, nearly 10% of admitted applicants are not able to enroll due to a lack of sufficient assistance grants. Tonight we ask you to raise your paddle and support increasing scholarships for Troubies. Coupled with the generosity of those around you, your donation can continue the tradition and help graduate MORE young women who will change the world!
