Indeed Domain
Austin, TX // 309,883 sf
STG Design’s fourth project for Indeed is for their engineering offices located in Domain Tower. Indeed wanted a highly connected space to provide an interactive environment for their employees that reflects the company’s energetic attitude on a global scale. The original design called for Indeed to take over eleven separate floors with only elevator banks and fire stairs, providing a connection between these spaces. The client tasked STG Design with creating a focal-point staircase to interconnect break rooms and other high-activity spaces on seven of the eleven levels. The unique design solution allows employees to move between each of these floors, with dynamic neighborhoods of individual and community zones creating opportunities for interactive experiences. By combining local raw materials, vibrant brand colors, and technology, continuous lines are created that connect people and encourage collaboration. Amenities include an airstream trailer as meeting space, sushi bar, baristas and cafÊ, and an auditorium and fitness center.

3M
Austin, TX // 204,000 sf
Based on a community-centric design created to provide diverse spaces that drive employee innovation, productivity, and company culture, 3M set out with clear goals about what they wanted to accomplish. As both a destination for training and engaging spaces to support a range of work styles, security and accessibility were an essential part of this design. The lobby space as a first impression is designed to create a sense of volume and spaciousness for circulation between different points of access, bright and welcoming to employees and to visitors of the exhibit and conferencing spaces. Areas that required open access for visitors were given separate entrances, while employee access to the open office and flex spaces required a monitored security entrance with card key access. With its unique lobby features, breakout collaboration spaces, and fitness area, as well as a cafe and cafeteria, employees have access to a fluid space unified by harmonious colors and finishes.

Rubicon Equities
Nashville, TN // 3,200 sf
STG Design was tasked by the client with creating a high-design workspace that would fit seamlessly into any international market. With the challenge of designing a stable yet adaptable space, the original concept of a completely open plan space was toned back to a warm, minimalist feel. Through the application of glass divides and staggered overlapping lighting, an open yet contained space with distinctive areas emerged. The Subtle Blend rug was crucial in providing weight and density to the overall design, unifying a unique and open space while being as sensitive as possible to the client’s initial requests of minimal permanent imposition on the building.
