With a bum-ba-bum-BOOM, St George’s autumn season of kids’ shows starts with a bang (and a crash and a wallop). From marimbas and glockenspiels to dustbins and planks of wood, the Drum Blondes all-girl percussion duo creates tunes and rhythms out of just about anything! And with Emily Morris and Claire Hasted’s highly skilled and infectious performances inspiring the hidden percussionist in all of us – pots and pans back home beware! Great for kids aged 6+. MUSICAL MYSTERY TOUR!

You can’t but fall in love with the sensational sing-a-long songs and dazzling array of stringed instruments on this zany tour of music from around the world. Meet the parrot-parrot from Hong-HongKong-Kong who repeats everything he sayssays, feed fillets of fish to the fat flamingoes, be the first to pick up the giant mandobass and listen to the Victorian bodiless fiddle.

A STORYTELLING SHOW IN THE ROUND

WILD WORDS VIKRAM AND THE VAMPIRE

Have you ever had a storytelling vampire on your back whispering sweet riddles into your ear? Well King Vikram, a ruler from Ancient India did, and this is his story. In a spooky and spine-chilling afternoon of fantastical tales and tones told and played by storytellers Michael Loader and Martin Maudsley and singer-musician Ailsa Mair Hughes, Wild Words presents a lively and playful re-telling of this ancient Hindu adventure. Test your wit and ingenuity with the tantalising mind-bogglers posed by a corpse, wriggle and squirm to find the right answers, and follow the journey of a proud King as he seeks to gain wisdom. Great for kids aged 7+ / please note: not suitable for very young children.
