  Each summer we give our children's team a wellearned rest by running 'Summer Sundays'. This is a chance to serve our children during the Morning Service in a fun and faith filled way. If you're able join this team to serve for one or more Sundays between now and 31 Aug, please contact Jon. All volunteers will be asked to fill in a DBS form.

Congratulations to Kim who has been accepted to train for ordination. Kim and Chris are moving to Sheffield in the Summer and Kim will start her training at St Barnabas in Sept 2015. We are so grateful for all that they have contributed to St George’s as a family and for the amazing job that Kim has done in our admin team. Please pray for them as a family as they settle into a new home, as Chris begins a new job and as they prepare for the arrival of their new baby.

 Mon 4 Aug, Church To mark the 100th anniversary of the start of WW1, a small area of the church will be set aside for anyone wishing to come to pray from 9am - 4pm.



12.30pm, Sun 10 Aug, Centre The Nunn family are heading out to Ethiopia as missionaries. ext Sunday we will say goodbye to them and have a bring and share lunch after the service - all welcome.

Prayer for the Crypt Please pray for the St George's Crypt and Emmerdale 7-a-side football tournament on Sunday 3 August at Farsley. Please pray for good weather and that the day will go well. This is a great way of raising funds and awareness for the work of the Crypt.

Deadline for the notice sheet is 12 noon on Thursday

St Barnabas Theological Centre offer modules in Sheffield, from introductory theology and biblical study to a full degree course. Some bursary funding is available. See programmes in the foyer or talk to Mark Powley.

 New Wine 3-9 Aug Please pray for those attending and serving at New Wine - that they would be encouraged.

Hannah Sansome, Chris Balding, Fraser Raitt, Mel Scott, Kate & Sam Péchèr, Rachel Sandbach Lots of people will be leading at this CYFA camp in Ripon for 11 - 18 year olds between 26 Jul -13 Aug, Please pray for site and leadership changes to go smoothly, and for a fun, God-filled week.

Robert Wright - Helter Skelter Camp, Brackley Robert Wright will be a junior leader at SU's Helter Skelter camp in Brackley 9-16 August. Please pray that all the necessary equipment is sourced and delivered on time and that preparations run smoothly.

Matt Malone - Derby Matt will be leading on a CYFA camp called Foremarke 3 for 14-18 year olds between 10-17 Aug. Please pray that the 40 young people who are coming would grow in relationship with Jesus.

Graeme Collins and Hazel Radcliffe, South Africa Graeme and Hazel are taking part in a mission near Durban from 10-27 August. The team, including young people from Horsforth School, will help an orphaned children's charity called Sethani. running a holiday club, building and home visiting. Please pray for safety and awareness of God's leading as they step out in faith.

Chris Williams, Cumbria Chris is leading on a Scripture Union Camp called Step Out from 17-23 August. Please pray for the team under new leadership, and for encounters with the Heavenly Father.

Claire Oldfield, Cambodia Claire is going with members of Riverside from 17-31 August. Please pray for good travel and for the projects they will be visiting.

Julie Collins, Louise Mann, the Swales family - Tregginis Julie and Louise are leading on a Falcon Camp for 8-11s from 23 - 28 Aug . Pray for protection on journeys and for good loving relationships.
