Fri 19th - Tue 23rd August 2016, Thirsk, North Yorkshire New Wine are hosting a stripped back weekend in the North centred on family with teaching and worship featuring folk from St G’s. Places are limited and tickets will sell out quickly so please visit the New Wine website to book. Early bird booking is £85 for adults, £45 for 6-18s and free for under 5s.

Monetary gifts will go towards steel capped shoes for client volunteers on the van, in the kitchen and in the garden.

 7.30pm, Tue 13 Oct, Centre Extra Time Network warmly invite you to an evening where members of St G’s will share their experiences of illness, and invite you to share yours, so that we can help and encourage one another. Contact John for info.

We have three weekends away coming up for Children and Young People. If you are able to pay for/contribute to the place of a child/young person (a place costs £80) this enables those who can't afford it to come.

9am-1pm, Sat 17 Oct, Centre This half day conference looks to equip Christians to disciple those who are on the margins.

The topics of disability, homelessness, addiction and mental health will be engaged with, including time to discuss experiences and challenges. Jon Swales and others will be speaking - please RSVP.

 St George’s Centre need casual catering staff for meetings and conferences, serving tea, coffee and lunches during the week with occasional weekend cover. Experience in working with the public and a serving heart is all that’s needed.
