If you’re going to serve/lead on a Christian camp this summer, please contact the office by the end of this week. We’d like to compile a list of camps with the names of those involved from St G’s to enable people to pray.

 Each summer we give our children's team a well-earned rest by running 'Summer Sundays' during which different people serve our children during the Morning Service in a fun and faith filled way. Tue 15 July, Centre This Tuesday is the last Play & Pray for this term. We restart on Tuesday 9th September.

5 members of St George's (Graeme Collins, Richard Smithells, Laura Proctor, Angie Wright and Mark Pallant) are taking part in the bike ride on 19 July and would be very grateful for sponsorship to support their great efforts raising money for three Leeds based Christian Charities.  After 3 years as Church Administrator, Dave Sankey is moving on and will be leaving St George's on 20 July. We would like to give Dave a thank you gift on behalf of the church for all that he has done during his time here. Please give any gifts to the churchwardens or put an envelope in the offertory bag.

  This is a 25 hour/week post with flexible working hours. We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant to work alongside the Centre Manager delivering a high quality service to delegates using the St G’s Centre.   2pm, Sun 13 July, Park Dale Hall Come to a film matinee to see ‘Quartet’ (12a) with drinks and popcorn. The film will start at 2.30pm - all welcome.

  7.30pm, Fri 18/Sat 19 July, The Riley Theatre, LS7 4BH Come and support a community of people including some from St G’s in this interpretation of the Psalms through song, spoken word, drama, dance and live music. Tickets are £7/£5 concessions from the website.

 3-6pm, Sat 19 July, St Richard’s Church, Seacroft Create is a city-wide workshop led by a team of young people, for young people aged 11-15. We use creative skills with a theme and enjoy a meal. Project: Toilet Twinning. Cost is £3.50 - book at Roots/Explorers or with Judith Shalkowski.

 7.30pm - 9pm, Sat 26 July, Wrangthorn Parish Hall Little Woodhouse Community Choir are putting on a free concert. Refreshments will be available at the interval, and donations to St Georges Crypt are welcomed. For more info, please e-mail or visit the website.

Volunteers of every gifting are needed for the August bank holiday weekend to help at Leeds Festival. There are options to work in the prayer tent, lost property tent or detached work.
