7:30pm, Wed 9, Wed 16, Wed 23 Sept, Church Centre In September we will be holding 3 welcome evenings for newcomers to St George’s or those who would like to be more connected in the life of the church. This short course consists of three sessions on Vision, Networks and Small Groups and Serving Opportunities. Please take an invitation from the stand in the foyer if you are interested in attending.

As a result of maternity leave, a vacancy has arisen (from early Oct) for a full time administrator post. The post holder will provide admin and clerical support to the church and staff team, providing effective communication between the staff, ministry leaders and congregation. Prayer for the Crypt The Crypt is opening a new charity shop in Pudsey. Please pray that this is more than just a shop, but becomes a place where God’s blessing is found for all who use it.

 Swanbourne Falcon Camp - 16 - 23 August

Pete and El Rawlinson, Ewan and Izzi Jones The camp is a holiday for children who face a range of challenges in life. Please pray that we meet the aims of giving them a great holiday, build them up and show God's love. Pray for Pete in the kitchen, El with the campers and Ewan and Izzi, who are doing a bit of both!

 Please bear with us as many staff are away at the moment.

 Susie & Phill Hopkins will once again run children's’ workshops at this year's Greenbelt Festival.

Sewing materials, fabric, buttons etc are needed. Please leave in the box in the foyer.

   7.30-9.30, Thursdays, Centre John Walker is facilitating a group to read and study The Shack Revisited by Dr C. Baxter Kruger PhD. It will meet weekly from Thu 10 September to Thu 10 December (except October 29th) from 7.30 – 9.30pm in the Centre. Please sign up soon as the group is almost fully subscribed. More info from John.

10am-5pm, Sat 22 Aug, Centre Ex-Muslim Sam Solomon, a Christian with extensive knowledge of the Qur'an and Sharia law, will be speaking about his experiences of suffering and faith next weekend. English and Persian speakers welcome.

  St Barnabas Theological Centre is recruiting for its Independent Leader Track in September and modules in Biblical Studies, Theology, Leadership and Mission. Teaching takes place on Mondays at St Thomas Crookes, Sheffield. Applications are open through the summer.
