Info EXPLORERS is the Children’s Network for 0-11s. Each week we begin in church before going to our groups in the Church Centre. Children need to be collected at 12.00 noon. ROOTS is our Network for 11-18s. We meet down in the Church Centre at 10.20am each Sunday morning.

GIVING There is an opportunity to give during the service. If you intend to give regularly, please pick up Standing Order and Gift Aid forms in the foyer. INDUCTION LOOP St George’s is fitted with an induction loop; please speak to a Steward for assistance.

PRAYER MINISTRY is offered during and after services at the front of church. If you would like to pray about anything, please ask one of our trained prayer ministers.

PASTORAL CARE We are seeking to be a community where everyone can be supported and cared for. We encourage you to ask for support, or get someone to ask on your behalf and we will respond as best we can.

REFRESHMENTS are served after the services in the Community Room.

PETER PAGE Peter Page died peacefully last week, please keep Ann and his sons in your prayers. His funeral will be at 2pm on 24 February in Church. GATEWAY CHURCH Today Gateway will be meeting at St George’s between 1-3pm for their main Sunday meeting due to problems with their usual venue. QUIET PLACE GROUP are meeting tomorrow at 7.45pm in the church centre for quiet, meditative, reflective prayer. Newcomers welcome, just turn up or contact Elsie for more info. elsie2.haith@btinternet.com XCHANGE 7.30pm, 20 Feb, Church Centre Katie Dexter will be sharing her experiences in India, Mary Booth on her trip to Sierra Leone and Beth Tash on her work in the night time economy in Leeds. INTERNS PLUS Application Deadline Tue 21 Feb An invitation to a team where you can contribute and learn alongside others. In addition to our 2012/13 young adult and graduate stream, we are looking to recruit adult interns of any age who would like to serve and grow through internship. This is an opportunity to use your experience, gifts and wisdom for the kingdom, to develop new skills, and to reflect on where God is calling you next. ALPHA FOR MUMS 9.30-11am, Fridays, Church Centre Course runs for 10 consecutive weeks It’s still not too late to join us! Each week we will watch a topical talk together, followed by coffee, cake and discussion. This is a great chance to explore the Christian faith and ask any questions you might have. ROMANIA MISSION TRIP 2 - 12 August Aug 2012 Got plans for the summer? - Why not think about joining the mission team going to the Bethlehem Children’s Centre in Hunedoara. Last year the St George’s team served on different projects on the ‘Salt and Light’ week including Holiday Club, Crafts, Sports, Needlework, Drama, Music and much more! It’s a lot of fun and a fantastic opportunity to experience a different culture and see the work God is doing in Hunedoara. LEEDS LENT PRAYER DIARY Copies are available of the 2012 Leeds Lent Prayer Diary. The diary includes many entries from different initiatives serving in Leeds, such as Christians Against Poverty, Abigail Housing and a new pioneer ministry role for the nightlife of Leeds. Please collect copies from the foyer.

SCHOOL OF THEOLOGY 9.30am, Sat 25 Feb, Church Centre Jon Swales will be speaking on The Prophets. Jon is currently completing an MLitt on links between the book of Isaiah and Mark’s Gospel.
