Today marks the end of the Dioceses of Ripon & Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield, and the first day of the Diocese of West Yorkshire and the Dales. Please pray for our new Bishop, Nick Baines, and those involved with the transition.

Prayer for the Crypt Our food cupboards are nearly empty and we are giving out about 40 food parcels a week to families in desperate need. We also feed about 100 people a day who come to the Crypt. Please pray that we get a response to our appeal from businesses, churches and other organisations so we can continue this important work.

 An increase in the number of people needing food parcels means the Crypt is low on goods.

If you could add tins of meat/ veg/potatoes to your weekly shop and bring them to church on Sundays, it would be much appreciated.

Deadline for the notice sheet is 12 noon on Thursday

 Wednesdays, 30 April-18 June Alpha is a brilliant way for those wrestling with the big questions of life to come and explore. We are looking for volunteers to join our team to help set up, serve, lead tables and aid discussions where needed. Please email Lisa or fill in a Contact Card.

   The low price deadline for the Communication Officer We would like someone with a heart for mission and IT skills to assist with keeping in touch with our mission partners, as well as developing a communication plan to inform our congregation.

Minutes Secretary We would like someone to help prepare agendas for and take minutes during meetings of the Overseas Mission Committee which take place approximately 8 times a year.

  6.30pm, Sun 11 May, Leeds Minster This society has been responsible for building 44 new churches (including Wrangthorn) across the city, and is marking its 150th anniversary with a celebratory service. The preacher will be Rev. James Bell and all are welcome.
