The PCC is the decision making body of the church. It shares the responsibility of making decisions with the Rector and church staff on the whole mission of St George’s - pastoral, evangelistic, social and financial. PCC meets about 6 times a year, and members are elected to serve for a 3 year term. Being part of the PCC is an essential service to the church and its ministries. To be elected, nominations require both a Proposer and a Seconder. You must on the Electoral Roll to make a nomination and to stand for PCC.

To nominate a candidate, please fill in a nomination form found on the Team board in the foyer.

PRAYER GATHERING & ACM 7.30 - 10pm, Tues 26 Apr, Centre

ROLL UP, ROLL UP, ELECTORAL ROLL NOW OPEN The Electoral Roll is now open for applications. Putting your name on the Electoral Roll is a way of saying “I belong”; it is an act of commitment to St George’s and to the wider Church. The Roll closes on Sun 10 Apr. People can join the Roll if they are baptised and aged 16 or over. Members of the Electoral Roll are able to vote at the Annual Church Meeting and will be eligible for nomination to the office of Churchwarden or to the Parochial Church Council (PCC). Please pray for wide representation on the Church Council so that the interests of the church can continue to be well served.
