Maundy Thursday: 7.30pm, Communion at Wrangthorn 9pm-9am, All Night Vigil at Oxford Place St G’s and Wrangthorn will gather together for Communion, then you can stay as long as you like at Oxford Place for music, reflection and prayer, with thoughts from James Barnett at 10pm and Jon swales at 7am on Good Friday. Good Friday: 10.30am, Hour at the Cross, St G’s with Walk of Witness@11.30am / 3pm, Wrangthorn Hour at the Cross Come along to a quiet service led by Jonathan, then join other churches walking through the city as we remember Jesus’ sacrifice. An hour of reflection will follow at Wrangthorn. Pick up an Easter 2015 leaflet in the foyer for more details

Each Wednesday you will be served a 2 course meal at a table for two followed by a short talk. Prayer for the Crypt Sessions will not involve Please pray for the guys in the any group work. Anyone on the Electoral Roll will have a vote at the ACM and will be eligible for nomination as Churchwarden or to the PCC. Forms available on the notice board in the foyer. Children from Next Steps will be asking for donations for cake after the morning service. This is so they can buy charity gifts for Christian Aid, as part of their learning about giving in Lent.

We are also looking for a new churchwarden. Please pray that the right people may be appointed. We want wide representation on the Church Council so that the interests of the whole church can be served. Nomination Forms are available from the Info Desk as well as a PCC members job description. We thank Clare for the work she has done and for helping to overhaul the Church’s safeguarding policy.  7.30pm, Tue 28 Apr, Church We are looking for volunteers to steward and to serve drinks for the evening when we host a Tearfund event as part of their 'Ordinary Heroes' campaign. The campaign is to encourage Christians to engage with issues of climate change and sustainability. Mark Powley will be one of the speakers.  1-4 May, Lancaster This New Wine event will include two adult venues, plus a wide range of seminars, with youth and children’s groups throughout the weekend. Speakers include Matt Barlow, Ian Parkinson, Joanna Seabourne and Mark Powley.
