EXPLORERS is the Children’s Network for 0-11s. Each week we begin in church before going to our groups in the Church Centre. Children need to be collected at 12.00 noon. ROOTS is our Network for 11-18s. We meet down in the Church Centre at 10.20am each Sunday morning and on Friday night from 7-9pm in the Church Centre. STUDENTS are an integral part of the community here and we run student networks during term time. See the network board in the foyer for details.
REFRESHMENTS are served after services in the Community Room. INDUCTION LOOP St George’s is fitted with an induction loop; please speak to a Steward for assistance. PASTORAL CARE We are seeking to be a community where everyone can be supported and cared for. We encourage you to ask for support, or get someone to ask on your behalf and we will respond as best we can.
GIVING There is an opportunity to give during the service. If you intend to give regularly, please pick up Standing Order and Gift Aid forms in the foyer. PRAYER MINISTRY is offered during and after services at the front of church. If you would like to pray about anything, please ask one of our trained prayer ministers. SERMONS are available online. The Crypt have launched a voucher scheme entitled Give Me Some Credit. The scheme provides an innovative and positive way to help people on the street instead of giving them money. Vouchers can then be redeemed for a meal at the Crypt and access to all their services. Vouchers will be available after the service at a cost of £5 for five. Please help the Crypt to make a difference for even more people.
7pm, Thursdays, St George’s Church Centre Living as a Christian in your home country can have challenges that aren’t often talked about in church. There are pressures around work, marriage, church and relating to parents. To help you in these areas, come along to the ‘Living for Jesus at Home Course’: a relaxed and friendly evening with a meal (please bring £1.50 to cover costs). 7.45pm, Thu 4 July Parents or guardians of children aged 2-18 are invited to an evening's discussion on children and video gaming. The evening will involve reflecting together on how we think about gaming devices as Christians, and contribute to a research project on this issue. To register an interest, contact Mark Powley.

This year the workshops at Greenbelt Festival are on the theme of ‘Bugs & Butterflies’. We need donations of craft items – buttons, pipe cleaners, felts, fabric scraps, shiny bits and bobs etc. There will be a box at the back of church, so please bring what you can. 7-8.30pm, Fri 28 June, Church KPM are calling on ALL Christians (any age!) to learn a flash-mob style dance to an original track. Come and light up the streets of Leeds as part of the Hope for the Nations event on July 6th. The teaching session (nominal fee of £2) is to learn the 5 minute dance, so get on board!

Luke Lynam and a friend are cycling from Morecambe to Bridlington in aid of a charity called Building Malawi. They will cycle 170 miles in 2 days to raise money to build a school, library and sport facilities in Lilongwe, Malawi. This is a part of Africa that really needs help to build community. 21 - 26 August 2013 We will be running a 24/7 tea, coffee and prayer tent, the lost property tent and a detached team across the campsite of 120,000 people. Volunteers with good people skills are needed (over 18s only) but training will be given. Volunteers need to commit a minimum of 20 hours to get a free wristband. Contact Beth for more info.

Xchange Xtravaganza Overseas Mission Celebration
We like to give our children’s team a rest during the Summer holidays, so are looking for volunteers to help us run the children’s activities from 28 July – 25 August. We can provide activities and training - no previous experience is necessary. Volunteers will need a CRB check and these take time, so please get in touch with Jennifer ASAP if you are able to help out.
