   EXPLORERS is the Children’s Network for 0-11s. Each week we begin in church before going to our groups in the Church Centre. Children need to be collected at 12.00 noon. ROOTS is our Network for 11-18s. We meet down in the Church Centre at 10.20am each Sunday morning and on Friday night from 7-9pm in the Church Centre. STUDENTS are an integral part of the community here and we run student networks during term time. See the network board in the foyer for details.

REFRESHMENTS are served after services in the Community Room. INDUCTION LOOP St George’s is fitted with an induction loop; please speak to a Steward for assistance. PASTORAL CARE We are seeking to be a community where everyone can be supported and cared for. We encourage you to ask for support, or get someone to ask on your behalf and we will respond as best we can.

GIVING There is an opportunity to give during the service. If you intend to give regularly, please pick up Standing Order and Gift Aid forms in the foyer. PRAYER MINISTRY is offered during and after services at the front of church. If you would like to pray about anything, please ask one of our trained prayer ministers. SERMONS are available online.  Thanks to all those who contributed last Sunday to the Philippines Disaster Relief Fund through the offertory. A total of £1155.96 was raised and this has been sent to Tearfund.

If you could help with teaching, (you don't need to be a teacher) just talking to the students and answering their questions is extremely useful, or if you could help with set up and serving tea and coffee please get in touch with Paul.

  Film Matinee - 2.30pm, 8 Dec We are showing the film Nativity. There will be light refreshments afterwards. Carol Singing -7pm, 10 Dec We will be singing carols on the green in the Marlboroughs - all welcome. Mulled apple and mince pies will be served.

  Sat 25 Jan 2014 An event for your diary next year, in aid of the Crypt and St Chad’s Parish Centre. There will be a traditional meal and live Ceilidh band. Tickets are £20 from Clare or Alison Oldfield or Laura Proctor.

 7.30pm, Mon 25 Nov, 5 Cookridge Ave, LS16 7NA Come along to a planning/info meeting about Le Tour de Yorkshire. This charity fun ride will take place two weeks before the Tour de France to raise money for three Leeds based Christian charities: Leeds Faith in Schools, Kidz Klub and Friends International. The ride will be a two day event and follow the same route as Le Grand Depart. If you would like to hear more about the ride or to offer some support in the planning of the event, please email Graeme.

Young people lead their peers to gain new skills to use in their churches, supported by accompanying adults. The theme is Christmas Arts and Crafts.  12pm & 1pm, Thu 28 Nov, Room 4 Leeds Uni Union Mark Powell will be speaking on What is Christianity? Come and bring your friends to hearing what Christianity is all about. An opportunity to ask questions and enjoy a free lunch in a relaxed and open environment.

  8.30pm-9.30pm, Mon 2 Dec, Refectory, Leeds Uni Union Join us at Leeds University for our Christmas Carol Concert. One of our biggest events at Leeds Uni where the truth of the gospel is heard. A relaxed, friendly environment with free mince pies and mulled wine.

   11.30am, Fri 13 Dec, Centre The Crypt is holding a suspense filled luncheon provided by Nurture, our own in-house catering social enterprise. History Wardrobe will perform a piece about the life and times of Agatha Christie and how she created two such enduring sleuths. Tickets are £25 and will be available from St George’s Crypt Fundraising department.

  Please pray for the wellbeing of the staff as they are already planning for a very busy Christmas period. Please pray for the Christmas appeal that people will donate generously.
