Attention all crafters, gluers and notice sheet enthusiasts, we need you! This year as part of the Christmas celebrations at St George’s we need your help to pull off something truly unexpected by creating a set of Christmas decorations out of this very notice sheet. We’d love everyone to be a part of this, as your decoration will help make St George’s look amazing this Christmas! To make your decoration, pick up a green notice sheet on a Sunday, follow the instructional video on our website and drop your creations in the foyer before 15 Nov.

All men are welcome to attend this New Wine event to explore being confident and strong in the Lord in the workplace, with family and friends. Cost £22. If you would like to serve on the day, entry will be free-contact Dan Tyler.

Sunday 6 Dec Baptisms will take place in both morning and evening services. If you are considering baptism, please speak to a member of clergy first and then contact Janet Gibson to register. This is also an opportunity to renew your baptism vows if you were baptised as a baby.

This ‘stripped-back’ New Wine weekend will feature teaching, worship and an opportunity for church members to enjoy a weekend of ‘being family’ together with clergy and staff members. Places are limited and tickets will sell out quickly, so visit the New Wine website to book. Early bird booking is £85 for adults; £45 for 6-18s; free for under 5s.

  Tues 17 Nov, Church Rob Parsons and Katharine Hill will present insights and top tips gathered from their combined experience of working alongside thousands of parents for over thirty years. Take away some practical ideas to help you be an even better parent. (No group work involved)

  Caring for Life, as part of their work visiting vulnerable families, need a forward-facing car seat with a 5-point harness for children aged 9 months to 4 years.
