Maundy Thursday: 7.30pm, Communion at Wrangthorn 9pm-9am, All Night Vigil at Oxford Place St G’s and Wrangthorn will gather together for Communion, then you can stay as long as you like at Oxford Place for music, reflection and prayer, with thoughts from James Barnett at 10pm and Jon swales at 7am on Good Friday.

Good Friday: 10.30am, Hour at the Cross, St G’s with Walk of Witness@11.30am / 3pm, Wrangthorn Hour at the Cross Come along to a quiet service led by Jonathan, then join other churches walking through the city as we remember Jesus’ sacrifice. An hour of reflection will follow at Wrangthorn.

 Next Steps would like to thank everyone who bought a cake after the morning service last Sunday - we now have over £80 to give to families in Africa!

 Prayer for the Crypt Please pray for the ongoing interviews for interns and apprentices - that the right people may be chosen.

The Electoral Roll closes next Sunday. Please see the form to check if you are eligible to join. Those on the Electoral Roll will have a vote at the ACM and will be eligible for nomination as Churchwarden or to the PCC. Forms available in the foyer.

  7.30-9.45pm, Wed 29 Apr - 17 June, Centre Kathryn and Mark Harlow along with a team will be hosting a 7 week Marriage Course. Each Wednesday you will be served a 2 course meal at a table for two followed by a short talk.

Sessions will not involve any group work. The aim of the course is to help couples build a healthy relationship that will last a lifetime. Please sign up online by Sun 19 April. £70 per couple.

   The Church Prayer Gathering Wed 22 April At the ACM, 4 people are required to be elected to the PCC and 2 to the Deanery Synod. We are also looking for a new churchwarden. Please pray that the right people may be appointed. We want wide representation on the Church Council so that the interests of the whole church can be served.

 7.30pm, Tue 28 Apr, Church We are looking for volunteers to steward and to serve drinks for this Tearfund event as part of their 'Ordinary Heroes' campaign. The campaign is to encourage Christians to engage with issues of climate change and sustainability. Mark Powley will be speaking. To volunteer or for more info, contact Stuart.

 1-4 May, Lancaster This New Wine event includes two adult venues and a wide range of seminars with youth and children’s groups throughout the weekend.

Speakers include Ian Parkinson, Joanna Seabourne, Matt Barlow and Mark Powley.

4-5.30pm, Sun 26 Apr, Church Leeds City Centre Churches Group is hosting Hustings at St George's Church on the above date. All the candidates for Leeds Central are invited and everyone is welcome to attend.

7.30pm, Sat 25 Apr, Trinity Church, Boar Lane The James Farrell Concert Band will be playing a St George’s day concert in aid of the Crypt. They are a woodwind/brass group who will play a mixture of classical and popular music.

  10am-4pm, Sat 4 Apr, Wrangthorn Come along to see the beautiful Wrangthorn Church in Hyde Park as they open their doors for Easter. All are welcome to view the exciting plans for the proposed redevelopment of the church. There will be people on hand to answer questions and hear your views.

 3-6pm, Sat 25 April, Seacroft Together young people aged 10-15 have fun learning new creative arts skills through interactive workshops. Spring crafts, chocolate making, origami, pizza, skill building and worship, only £3.50. More info on the website or call Judith to book a place.
