Prayer for the Crypt Please pray for all those battling with grief and loneliness, that they may know God’s love surrounding them, caring for those they have lost.

   As a result of maternity leave, a vacancy has arisen (from early October) for a full time administrator post, joining the admin team in the church office.

The post holder will provide admin and clerical support to the church and staff team, and provide effective communication between the church staff, ministry leaders and congregation.

 Thursday morning prayers is taking a break over the summer. The first prayers of the new term will be Thu 3 Sept.

 St Augustine’s, Wrangthorn is seeking to plant a network to reach out to those in the Hyde Park area in different ways, including through a new evening service. Is God calling you to come and join us? We will be meeting together to pray about it and listen to God over the summer. Please e-mail for info.

 Summer Sundays give our Children’s Team a break during the holidays. These sessions take place during the 10.30 service as a fun way to help the kids of our church family encounter God. Please email If you are available for any Sundays in August.

Thu 8-Thu 22 Oct, Bethlehem There are places available on an olive picking trip to Bethlehem.

The fortnight visit will include visiting traditional pilgrimage sites and meeting people in Jerusalem and Palestine. For more info, contact David Kibble.

Susie & Phill Hopkins will once again run children's’ workshops at this year's Greenbelt Festival.

  St Barnabas Theological Centre is recruiting for its Independent Leader Track in September and modules in Biblical Studies, Theology, Leadership and Mission. Teaching takes place on Mondays at St Thomas Crookes, Sheffield. Applications are open through the summer.
