You might want to do something simple with your Network like inviting people over for a BBQ and sharing stories of faith. As a result of a great response to our Vision Appeal with 44 new givers, 53 increasing their giving and 67 pledging one-off gifts, our giving expectation this year will increase by £73,000, reducing our budgeted deficit to £15,000, which is hopefully covered by a surplus from St George’s Centre which has made a good start to the year. “It is with great sadness that, after 25 years of ministry within St George’s Parish, we are announcing the closure of Community Church. We’ve organised many varied activities and events, inviting people in the Parish, but with little success in more recent years. We are now few in number and feel that God’s will for us is to hand over responsibility of the residential Parish to St G’s. Our last service will be on the 14th June, followed by a shared lunch. Thank you to all who have helped and supported us over the years.” All members of

This is a new play by Common Chorus Theatre Company written in collaboration with, and based on the biographies of, clients at Spacious Places. Tour venues include The Crypt on Tues 9 June. Mon 22 Jun, Gusto Restaurant, Cookridge/Adel Graeme Collins is a Trustee of LFIS and is inviting guests to attend an informal evening of Italian food and to hear stories from its schools workers who reach a third of all secondary schools in Leeds.
