Prayer for the Crypt Please pray for joy and peace for all clients and staff in this new year.
We hope you’ve enjoyed this Christmas time and have a very blessed 2015. We’re so thankful for all God has done in St George’s, and for a wonderful Christmas Day service - the response has been so encouraging, and stories are still coming in! We’re starting this new term with two fantastic sermon series including a guest speaker, and a brand new Alpha course starting in 10 days time. Please continue to pray for us as we look ahead as a church family and reach out to Leeds.
Thank you to all those who contributed in many different ways to our Christmas Day service. The positive response has been tremendous. Please pray for all those around the country who found the service uplifting because they were on their own, or unwell, or unable to attend their regular church. Thanks also to all those who brought in cake to share – it was a lovely way to unwind after the service.
Children’s groups are on this morning, and Roots start back next Sunday 11 Jan. Roots Friday is also on this week. Please pray for Lottie and the team as they prepare for the young people’s weekend away this month.
Student Teas will begin again on Sunday 25 Jan. All students are welcome to come to the Centre at 5.30pm each week for a hot meal and fellowship - just £1 or free if it’s your first time!

St George’s are in great need of people to welcome newcomers to church. We are planning to take 32 of our 7-11 year olds on a weekend away in February, however, some of the kids cannot afford to go. We hope this will be an amazing time for the kids to meet with God and strengthen their faith. If you would like to donate money to ensure they can all go, please email Jenni.
