Sun 22 Feb, all over Leeds! In 2 weeks’ time there won’t be an evening service as we meet across the city in smaller groups called Networks. There will be all sorts of activities taking place, so contact your Network Leader to find out more. For info about our Networks, please pick up a blue Connect Card from the foyer.
Sat 14 March Morning and afternoon sessions learning a new skill, anything from electronics to singing, crochet to baking. Lunch is provided. The cost will be £8 for one session or £10 for both. Sign up sheet and more info in the foyer in church or email Beth.
The PCC is looking into the possibility of upgrading lighting in the church. A small working party is being set up and we would welcome interest from anyone who has expertise in the lighting field. If members of the congregation would like to make any comments on lighting the Churchwardens would be happy to receive them.
Sat 24 July - Sun 2 Aug Romania is on! A group from Leeds churches are travelling to Transylvania for a mission trip to bless and support the local church. Children's work, sport, and DIY will all feature. If you are interested, please contact Chris or Ann.

Thanks to everyone who attended the Burns Night event at St Chad’s two weeks ago. All the money raised will be shared between the Crypt and Mind.
Unwanted furniture in good condition can be donated to St George’s Crypt shop in Armley. If you phone the shop on 279 7732 they will organise someone to come and pick it up. Even good furniture which is slightly damaged can be donated as the Crypt will now put the repairing and restoring of it as part of client training and engagement activity.
LCTM have produced their annual resource which details a project to pray for on each day of the Lent season. Some projects in the booklet include St George’s Crypt, Leeds Faith in Schools, Spacious Places, Friday’s Child and Caring For Life. These diaries are free and are now available in the foyer.
Fri 13 - Sat 14 Mar, Headingley Methodist Church Vineyard are putting on an event led by Robby Dawkins called “Do What Jesus Did”. There will be time to receive practical and inspirational teaching, to pray and be prayed for and to be equipped for ministering to others. Tickets are £22 until 16th Feb, with all sessions from Friday evening to Saturday night included. For more info, visit the website.
