AUTUMN 2011 Welcome to the St George’s Autumn programme. This is a great term to join in with what God is doing in our church. The Alpha Course begins on 12 October, following a series of launch events. This term will also provide lots of opportunities to connect with a Network, so we can share life and love Leeds better.
In our teaching we’ll be working through the whole book of Isaiah. Through Isaiah, we glimpse a breath-taking vision of God that challenges and inspires us to live with courage, compassion and justice. You can catch the sermons at our services or online. You can also follow WALK, which takes a passage of the Bible each day and shares encouraging thoughts from members of St George’s. When Christmas approaches, we’ll be inviting Leeds to our contemporary and candlelit carol services. Watch out for these, and the other special events in the Church Guide.
