*A guide to expanding AIESEC in your university


Hello, my name is Jude. In this booklet you will find a guide to expanding AIESEC in your university. It gives you insights on the different stages you have to go through for your university to be recognised as a full expansion of AIESEC in Nigeria, For every stage we will like to inform you that AIESEC in Nigeria extends its support in achieving this with you and we are super glad about your interest.


‘’LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TO SOMEONE’’


‘’this is Ada, she heard about AIESEC and she wants AIESEC to be in her university, so this is how she goes about it’’

Ada Sends a mail to (nigeria@aiesec.net) with an attached letter of intent saying she wants AIESEC to be established in her school and she copies all the stake holders who share this intent with her (if any).


Feasibility study

Ada gets a reply from With a feasibility study document and she fills it up within 2 weeks and she sends it back to AIESEC in NIGERIA.


Ada’s university is accepted and is allowed to go through the stages of starting AIESEC in her university based on the feasibility study conducted.

Ada is selected as the expansions manager and she forms a team that will be responsible for making sure that AIESEC successfully expands into her university.


Access to resource hub(operational information)

Ada and her team gets access to resource hub that will help them run operations successfully. The resource hub contains letters, proposal, structures and implementation timeline.


Get supporting Local Committee partners

Get support from a pre-exiting entity(a university that already has AIESEC operational in it) to help with operational support and assist you in the developmental process.

Ada and her team gets five students who are interested in engaging with AIESEC through the Global volunteer program in other to officially become an expansion initiative. These 5 people will take a volunteering opportunity in another country. AIESEC in Nigeria assist her and her team with the process.


Ada, her team coupled with other people from her university attends a national conference organised by AIESEC in Nigeria


The team starts operations and gets more people to participate in the Outgoing Volunteer program and recruit more students for the program. They also settle all the legalities concerning school registration and have a working compendium.


Hurray! Hurray!! Hurray!!! Ada’s university is now officially recognised as a full Expansions of AIESEC in Nigeria.



AIESEC in Nigeria starts coaching Expansion into becoming a full entity of AIESEC in Nigeria


A partnership is signed with the school that supports and aid the full operations of AIESEC (this could be in the form of an endorsement from the school administration (Vice-chancellor), subpartnership from a faculty/department or an endorsement from the office of the DSA).


Introduction of new products

More AIESEC Products are introduced into Ada’s University and all the legalities are done in becoming a full entity of AIESEC in Nigeria.
