Introduction Dear candidate, In this application you will be able to use all your creativity when creating and designing your own application form to stand for President of AIESEC in Nigeria 2015-2016. The process has been designed to help you step out of the crowd and feel completely comfortable with your application making sure that it reflects you; it reflects your personality and your perspectives. At the same time, filling the application will support you in preparing yourself for a great term in AIESEC in Nigeria. The application for President of AIESEC in Nigeria 1516 is divided into eight parts: 1. MCP Candidacy Video: A maximum 5 minutes video presenting your candidacy, introducing yourself and why are you applying for the role. Send a PDF with the youtube. Please, make the video public. 2. Executive Summary: A one-page summary of your entire application. 3. Your Bio: Create your own biography and share it with us. You have just one limitation, one page! For examples on how a bio can be structured, please check out the following two links. Your CV: Give us the all important information we need to know about you, your AIESEC career, other jobs you have had, your contact details etc. You can use a maximum of one (1) page to create your CV. 5. MCP Questionnaire: These questions must be answered by all candidates and should not take more than ten (15) pages. Minimum font size: 10. 11-Oct-14
6. Blank Paper Challenge: 1 page to share with us what matters most to you (see final page of this document for details) 7. Endorsement Letters: Three (3) endorsement letters. Home LC and any other 2 LCs. Must be signed and with at least two contact details. 8. Signed released: Stating you agree to upload your documents in an external platform to give access to the plenary to evaluate it. The letter must be signed by you. Additional Notes for the Application: You can create your own design (graphic style and colour usage). Make sure you create a separate file for your Executive Summary, Bio, Blank Paper Challenge, your CV, your video, signed released and your answers. We will be expecting seven PDF files in addition to the endorsement letters. If you have any questions concerning the applications or the application process please contact Tolu Taiwo. The Deadline for sending your application via email is 23:59 GMT+1 Friday, 31st of October 2014. (IMPORTANT: Be punctual. no applications will be approved if received even 1 minute late, or if the video exceeds more than 5:00 minutes, or any other minimum requirements are not fulfilled. MCP Questionnaire Section A- General question 1. What is driving you to continue in AIESEC? Why have you decided to stand for President of AIESEC in Nigeria? What do you want to take out of this experience? 2. What does AIESEC give to the world and what does AIESEC in Nigeria give to Nigeria? 3. Which trends do you see shaping Nigeria in the following years and what opportunities and threats do they represent for the organisation? 4. What are the three most important strategic instruments to develop AIESEC in Nigeria from the national level? Please prioritize and explain them. 5. Do a holistic analysis of the AIESEC in Nigeria. Based on that, please describe which strategic priorities you suggest for the term 15.16, including clear points for each programme.

What is a team to you? And what kind of team do you envision? Please explain what are the major characteristics and attributes you think are looking for to make up your MC team. One of the possible challenges of leading a team as an MCP is leading “equals� i.e people with similar experiences. Explain concretely how you will overcome this challenge. How will you lead and mange a team of low masculinity? Consequently, how will you lead a team of high masculinity? LCPs are also referred to as team mates of the MCP. What is your plan for LCPs and MC alignment to be united in one purpose? 11-Oct-14
Section C- Mid term ambition 1. Link the relationship between AIESEC way, BHAG, Mid term ambitions and AIESEC experience phases and programmes. Elaborate on changes in 2015 context in comparison with 2005 and 2010. 2. The achievement and contribution of AIESEC 2015 will be the responsibility during half of your term. How you will ensure that AIESEC in Nigeria is contributing to AIESEC 2015 in all the senses? How will you empower that each LC is contributing with at least 55 exchanges during 2015? 3. The new mid-term ambition of AIESEC for the year 2020 will be created and started during your term. How will you make sure that AIESEC in Nigeria is aligned and adapted for the new global direction? How will you drive the change management to make this happen without stopping the operations and the impact created? 4. In AIESEC we use lots of buzzwords such as sustainable, responsible, entrepreneurial to define leadership. What kind of leadership do you think we should be practicing in AIESEC heading into 2020? 5. AIESEC 2015 is almost over. If we fail to meet our goals for AIESEC 2015 should we continue to have mid term ambitions? Why should we or should not?
