Bargwanna boys unveil Audi for 2022 Bathurst 6 Hour

The Bargwanna family racing squad have unveiled their entry for the 2022 Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour. Ben Bargwanna hopes to gain more experience in the Burson Auto Parts Audi TTRS with racing in the NSW Production Touring Car series leading up to the Easter event at Mount Panorama.

As well as making their competitive debut on November at the Sydney Motorsport Park with the five cylinder, all-wheel-drive coupe, the team has also confirmed that existing backers Burson Auto Parts will return to support their program on the Mountain in 2022. The company backed the team’s VW Golf entry in the race this year, Ben and Jude Bargwanna combining to finish second in class – after leading a chunk of the six-hour Production Car classic throughout the day before a late Safety Car hurt their winning aspirations. The automotive parts retailer also supports the Bargwanna’s TCR Australia program with former Bathurst winner Jason Bargwanna and Ben sharing the driving duties in a pair of Peugeot 308 TCR entries. The 2022 Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour will see the Bargwanna team line up against what is expected to be a full field of Productionbased vehicles in Australia’s ‘showroom showdown’ enduro. The race will be held on the Easter Long weekend, April 15-17, next year.
