Dear School Leaders, Teachers, and Support Staff,
I am excited about our Teacher Educational Conference (TEC) that is scheduled for March 3rd, 2023. This will be done virtually again this year. As with our last TEC conference, I am impressed with the plans for the virtual conference and the quality of professional development that will be provided.
Many individuals have worked hard to plan for this professional development, and I would like to recognize those individuals who are ensuring that the Teacher Educational Conference will be of high quality and meet your needs. First, I would like to thank Shaileen Riginos, Assistant Superintendent for Accreditation and Strategic Planning, for her leadership in chairing the Teacher Educational Conference committee and hard work to make sure everything is organized and ready to go on March 3rd . Secondly, I would like to thank the TEC Committee for their support in the planning and the implementation of TEC, all while doing their day-to-day jobs of running our schools and teaching our students. Finally, I would like to recognize Mary Cummings from St. Joseph Catholic School for her expertise and hard work in handling all the technology needs necessary to put on an effective virtual conference.
I hope you find the TEC beneficial and can use what you learn during the conference to support you in providing our students with excellent Christ centered instruction. In the future we will solicit your input regarding this model for professional development and if needed expand these types of opportunities to make an impact in our classrooms. Thank you for the commitment to our mission, your dedication to our Catholic Schools and most importantly your love for your students. Enjoy the Teacher Educational Conference.
God Bless
William Ryan
