Pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit, to name your choir- Our St Andrew Catholic School choir is named CANTUS ANGELICUS- (LATIN) which translates to The Angelic Singing
Create a LOGO (Principal approved) that speaks to the mission you intend to portray- DEUS CARITAS
EST- God is Love, captures our message
Audition your students with a simple solfège scale at the beginning of the year. Limit your members in 4th-8th grade by ability. Create a wait list for overflow members. If they cannot match pitch, encourage them to work at home on their own .God calls us to share our time, talent and treasure .

Our 8th grade students create the tableau of the nativity as scripture is read from the ambo. Families come to witness the story of His birth. All are welcome.
Our entire student body participates in singing The Christmas Canon at the end of Our Christmas Program . Our student violinists perform as well.
WE put on all inclusive Spring Productions , where EVERY child is Cast . This is a 4th quarter STREAM project. This is a snippet of our production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast , Jr., behind the scenes Spring Show is ALL about THEM!
