GROW The Parables of Jesus Jesus’ Parables are engaging stories that share spiritual truths in a relatable way. Last Chance to Register High School Graduates Seniors and families celebrate Graduation Sunday, June 5, in the 11:00 a.m. Contemporary Worship service with a cake reception at 12:00 p.m. in the Rotunda of Building C. Youth Ministries will lead Contemporary Worship through music and will serve as greeters, ushers, and communion servers. If you would like to participate, please indicate that when you register. Children’s Ministries Stop by the Welcome Window on the first floor of Building B on Sunday mornings for information and room assignments. Infants, toddlers, and preschool will have Sunday School all summer. We will be in the “Surf Shack” learning lessons that show God’s amazing love. Ride a wave for summer fun! Elementary-aged children worship with families TODAY (May 29) and June 5. Combined elementary classes on June 12 will be in Building A Room 201. Poverty is a complex problem that, in order to be addressed, requires perspectives, ideas and solutions from all walks of life. The purpose of the Circles Big View meeting is to identify barriers that perpetuate poverty within our community and bring all types of people together to solve these systemic barriers which prevent individuals from reaching economic stability.

Circles® Ministry Transportation is a huge challenge for many individuals living at poverty level. Auto mechanics who are willing to give advice, direction, and/ or discounted repair service to members of our Circles community are needed. Also, if you have an older, reliable vehicle that you are willing to sell at a discounted rate, contact Beth Witten at bwitten@st.lukes.org.

Winter Garden Community Garden, June 4 This is a partnership between the City of Winter Garden and the East Winter Garden (EWG) Community and has over 100 plots available for rent seasonally. St. Luke’s hosts workdays where volunteers meet from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to help maintain the charity plots and beautify the grounds. Much of the produce is donated directly to EWG residents or to West Orange Christian Service Center. No gardening skills required. For information contact Adam Hartnett at ahartnett@st.lukes.org.

Donate Blood and Save Lives 25 percent of Central Florida’s blood supply comes from high school blood drives. During the summer months lifesaving blood is needed. Donate on Sunday, June 12 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at a Big Red Bus on campus. Donors age 16 may donate with parental consent. No consent needed for those 17+.
