PUMPKIN PATCH: The St. Luke’s Youth Ministries Pumpkin Patch will open for business on Thursday, October 3 near the picnic tables behind Building C. The patch will be open Monday- Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. For the safety of all those serving and visiting, the throughway portion of the road behind Building C will be closed from October 2 through October 31. Please allow for extra time to maneuver around campus next month. SUNDAY LUNCH BUNCH: This group will meet on Sunday, October 6 at the Bahama Breeze on International Drive, at 12:30 p.m. For reservations or cancellations call Becky Garner at 407.351.4875. FAMILY CAMPOUT: The second annual St. Luke's Fall Family Campout is Friday, October 18 starting at 5:30 p.m. There will be food trucks available (at a cost), campfire songs, stories in the pumpkin patch, s’mores and a hot breakfast. The cost of $25.00 per family includes breakfast and snacks only. Bring your own tent, RV, or camper (no hook-ups available, showers and bathrooms will be open in Building C). Space is limited. Learn about how you can bring your perspective and voice to the issues facing our society and church. PASTORS’ BOOK CLUB: Pastors Jenn and Corey will facilitate a six-week study on the book “Same Kind of Different as Me.” This bestseller follows a man raised under plantation-style slavery in the 1960s. This modern day slave and a wealthy art dealer become best friends and wrote this book together. The book club opens up dialogue on erasing prejudices and our core value of “Acceptance.” Join us beginning Thursday October 10 at 6:30 p.m. in Building B Room 205.
