MINISTRY GUIDE NOVEMBER 1, 2015 OUR PURPOSE

“Building the Kingdom by Building Disciples”

OUR CORE VALUES

At our center is the love of Jesus Christ. We value Christ Centered: Acceptance • Hospitality • Community • Discipleship • Service

WORSHIP Today's Worship

Worship

In the new series "What Would Wesley Do? (WWWD) Earn. Save. Give." we will explore a fourweek church-wide study of John Wesley's famous sermon, "The Use of Money." As the founder of the Methodist movement, John Wesley's writings were both spiritual and practical. In the "What Would Wesley Do?" sermon series we will shift our perspective on stewardship from merely raising funds to deepening one’s discipleship. Wesley offers a liberating word about financial freedom that neither demonizes the earning of money nor disparages the saving of money. We will embrace Wesley's teachings that encourage both earning and saving as a means to generous giving so that we might experience the joy of helping to build God’s kingdom.
