November Commit Campaign Dinners concluded Friday, November 1. St. Luke's leadership shared more details about the Commit Campaign plans for Community Transformation and Campus Optimization Initiatives. • Commit Campaign information packets were distributed at the end of each dinner. • Commitment Cards and instructions will be mailed to all St. Lukers in the coming week. Bring your Commitment Card to The Big Event on November 17. •

November 17 The Big Event Church-wide Commitment Worship Service Those attending The Big Event at Hard Rock Live must pick up wristbands and an event parking pass at the Commit Campaign table in the Welcome Hall of Building C TODAY through November 17. • Commit Campaign information packets will also be available for anyone who did not attend a campaign dinner. • This worship event is open to everyone. No childcare is available, but all ages are welcome. • We will make our campaign commitments and celebrate where God is leading us. • Transportation option available for those with mobility issues and concerns related to the walk from Universal Orlando parking to Hard Rock Live. Grow NO THURSDAY NIGHT DINNER NOVEMBER 7: Due to set up for the United Methodist Women's Holiday Bazaar there will be no Thursday night dinner on November 7. Mere Christianity and Coffee: This study and fellowship time for all ages begins Thursday, November 7 at 6:45 p.m. at the Starbucks on Rt. 192 across from the entrance to Celebration. A carpool will leave from St. Luke’s at 6:15 p.m. and return after class. Email youngadults@st.lukes.org for more information. STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS: This one-on-one special needs class is offered from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on the second and fourth Sundays of each month with a reservation. Allies are individuals who commit for a minimum of six months to building a friendship with a Circle Leader, an individual in poverty. EDUCATIONAL IMPACT TEACH-IN AT MOLLIE RAY AND PINELOCH IMPACT: Volunteers and St. Lukers are encouraged to participate on November 20. Speakers talk with students about careers, hobbies, travel or educational experiences. Volunteers need to register with the school of their choice. Speakers learn more about today's classrooms and get acquainted with the teachers while students have the chance to connect with another adult and learn about careers and opportunities they can look foward to in their future. Within Our Church STEPHEN MINISTRY CLASS: The next Stephen Ministry Class begins Tuesday, January 7, 2014. Spiritual gifts are gifts to give away! God gives them to us, and we use them to serve others.
