The 5:00 and 8:45 p.m. worship services are the most well-attended, so please plan accordingly. The Christmas Eve Offering will support the children in the residential program in Enterprise and the Open Hearts Foster Care program in Orange County of The Florida United Methodist Children’s Home.

Choose "Online Giving" at the top of the page or under the Commit tab. • Place your cash or check in the offering plate. COMMIT CAMPAIGN UPDATE: You can still make your pledge to the Commit Campaign. If you have not received an information booklet or pledge card, stop by the campus brochure racks to pick up a copy. Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in January INTERFAITH MLK SERVICE JANUARY 12, 2014: Gather at Orlando City Hall at 5:30 p.m. for a brief ceremony followed by a candlelight procession to nearby First United Methodist Church at 142 E Jackson St. for a one-hour interfaith, multi-cultural celebration. The event will conclude by 7:30 p.m. “42” MOVIE NIGHT: Many of you have seen this movie depicting the life of Jackie Robinson and the racial integration of Major League Baseball. As we’ve seen through the years, sports have a way of building bridges and celebrating differences. To kick off Dr. Martin L. King Jr. weekend, join us Friday, January 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the Attic of Building C for this movie, snacks, and dialog afterward. MLK CELEBERATION IN WINTER GARDEN ON JANUARY 18: Live entertainment, vendors and children's activities. In Dr. King's honor, a community march will travel from East Bay Street to the Mildred Dixon Center, 309 S. West Crown Point Road from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Join the march and visit the St. Luke's table while getting to know your neighbors.

CAMPUS CLOSING: The St. Luke's campus closes at 5:00 p.m. through Tuesday, December 31. Campus will be completely closed Wednesday, December 25 through Friday, December 27 and Wednesday, January 1. A Year With Frog and Toad KIDS: The St. Luke’s School of the Arts invites you to their production presented through special arrangement with MT International on January 21 at 6:00 p.m. in the St. Luke’s Sanctuary. Under the direction of Gin Jans Smith and presented by “Take the Stage” class students, this show, based on the well-loved characters in the books by Arnold Lobel, is a shortened version of Robert and Willie Reales’ Tony-nominated musical. This whimsical show follows two great friends through four fun-filled seasons and is a perfect complement to the Frog and Toad family study offered through Children’s Ministries in January. Grow Thursday Night Dinner: There will be no dinner this week. Join us January 9 for a new year! SUNDAY MORNING PROGRAMMING FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH: CHILDREN: All children will have regular programming TODAY. Children preschool through 4th grade can attend God-O-Sea where they will grow in their understanding of becoming a disciple. Nursery and preschool children will have regular programming on December 29, but elementary aged children will worship with their families. WEDNESDAY AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM: Starting Wednesday January 8, 2014 St. Luke’s will offer a Wednesday after school program for elementary through middle school students. The afternoon will be full of fellowship, activities, games, children and middle school choir and worship arts. The afternoon will start at 2:30 p.m. for elementary age students and 3:30 p.m. for middle school students. Looking for Financial Peace in 2014?: Register for Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University Class beginning January 5 and ending on March 2. This nine-week course will help you implement a more complete budgeting process allowing you to get out of debt, understand how you are spending your money and release you to be more generous. If you are transferring from another church where you have been active, we invite you to take Wesley Way and St. Luke's 101. Attend on Sundays or Tuesdays. All courses are four sessions long. Childcare available by reservation. 3. Attend the Decide Class: This final class builds on the experiences from the first four courses and empowers participants to continue their Christian journey. Subjects include the spiritual disciplines, The Bible in 12 Words, Commit and Meet Jesus on the Road.
