This Diploma provides students with knowledge of the principles of computing and a solid foundation into the design and development of web pages. As a graduate of this diploma, in addition to the learning outcomes achieved through the Diploma in Computing, the learner will also be able to: — identify design patterns and best practices for web pages; — convey a message through visual means given the limits and specifications of both the platforms being designed for and the desired look and feel; — develop web applications according to initial design; — demonstrate an ability to design, develop and style interactive web pages across different platforms.
