The course aims to teach the learner how to design and develop dynamic webpages using Javascript. The learner is exposed to Javascript through practical sessions as well as theoretical to explore the different capabilities of javascript as an OOP Language. At the end of the course the learner is also thought how to use different Javascript libraries such as JQuery. At the end of this unit the student will have acquired the responsibility and autonomy to: — decide whether a webpage requires dynamic elements; — review web content to decide how to best add dynamic elements; — choose the correct libraries needed (if any) for a dynamic webpage; — be able to develop a dynamic webpage; — review and decide how to best create maintainable front end web components. The assessment for this unit will be computed using the following weighting system: — 60% Assessed Coursework — 40% Examinations
