Having addressed the fundamental ideas behind storytelling in Storytelling I - Traditional Media, as well as interactive storytelling in Storytelling II - Interactive Storytelling, this level 3 unit empowers the transmedia storyteller with knowledge of the strengths and weaknesses of the different media and engages storytelling at a level that is free of the medium and distributable through a timed choreographic targeted dissemination. Contents include: What is Transmedia Storytelling; Media Storytelling; Conveying Action across Multiple Media and Managing the Story. At the end of this unit the student will have acquired the responsibility and autonomy to: — choose the best medium for a given narrative or part thereof; — choreograph the dissemination of related but disjointed narratives. The assessment for this unit will be computed using the following weighting system: — 70% Assessed Coursework — 30% Examinations
