Gift Wrapping Monday 5 December to Saturday 24 December Stockland Wetherill Park will continue to support the McGrath Foundation, whose generous volunteers have kindly offered their time to wrap our customers’ presents this year. Customers will be asked to make a gold coin donation per parcel wrapped, with all proceeds going to the McGrath Foundation. Gift-wrapping facilities will be located in Centre Court. Masterclass: Saturday 3 December and Sunday 4 December from 11am–2pm The feeling of receiving a beautifully-wrapped present over the Christmas season is something you never forget. For an exotic way to reuse a spare side of chicken, why not create your very own Asian inspired rice dish? Chop the chicken and combine with a selection of veggies – we recommend carrots, peas and mushrooms. Pay homage to our great nation with a delicious Aussie delicacy: prawns, of course! For the perfect Boxing Day snack, make your own homemade pizza. Put your leftover ham to good use in a creamy carbonara pasta dish. Simply dice and sauté some onions, mushrooms and ham, and add to a serving of freshly-cooked pasta. EASY FROZEN CHRISTMAS PUDDING PREPARATION TIME: 10 MINS INGREDIENTS: 1 packet frozen strawberries 1 tub vanilla ice-cream 1 handful broken meringue 1 cup white chocolate chips Fresh raspberries, pistachios and cinnamon sugar to garnish
METHOD: Line a rectangular pan with baking paper. Place the ice-cream in a bowl to soften. Add strawberries, meringue and chocolate chips, and stir to combine. Spoon mixture into pan and level top. Cover and freeze until firm. Remove from pan, place on platter and top with raspberries and pistachios. Dust with cinnamon sugar to serve.

PRAWN AND AVOCADO SALAD PREPARATION TIME: 10 MINS SERVES: 4 INGREDIENTS: 1 green butter lettuce, leaves shredded 300g cooked tiger prawn, deveined 75g feta cheese, cubed 2 ripe avocados, thinly-sliced 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar 1/4 cup olive oil Fresh herbs, salt and pepper to season
METHOD: Combine lettuce, prawns, feta and avocado in a large bowl. In a smaller bowl, combine balsamic vinegar and oil to form dressing. Drizzle dressing over prawn mixture and season to taste. Variations: For a fruity Summer twist, add chopped mango from Trim’s Fresh to your salad. For a sensational spicy twist, add 1 long, finely-chopped red chili.
