For an exotic way to reuse a spare side of chicken, why not create your very own Asian-inspired rice dish? Chop the chicken and combine with a selection of veggies – we recommend carrots, peas and mushrooms. Wok toss the chicken and veggies through some steamed jasmine rice for fried rice with a Christmas twist.
Pay homage to our great nation with a delicious Aussie delicacy: prawns, of course! For the perfect Boxing Day snack, make your own homemade pizza. Dice the unused prawns, add some olives, capsicum, tomatoes, cheese, fresh oregano and tomato base, and tuck into a patriotic (and incredibly tasty) post-Christmas delight.
Don’t throw away uneaten Turkish bread, baguettes or loaves. Create a tasty sandwich from your favourite Christmas dishes instead.
