VOICE CAPTURE
NOTHING CUTS THROUGH THE STATIC OF TALKING HEADS, ADVERTISEMENTS & THE 24-HOUR NEWS-CYCLE LIKE A FAMILIAR VOICE.
STONES’ POLITICAL STRATEGISTS. EFFECTIVE MESSAGING. WINNING SOLUTIONS.
Stones’ Phones understands the influence a human voice can have on policy makers, which is why we have been at the forefront of voice capture technology, using real words from everyday Americans to bypass the media white noise and directly connect with elected officials. Stones’ Phones doesn’t stop there. By incorporating voice capture messages into websites and social networking outlets such as Facebook and Twitter, we can build powerful grassroots support. For the Clean Air Kansas campaign, the team created an online map where Kansans could log onto the internet and hear their neighbors’ opinions. Many quickly realized that support for smoking in the workplace wasn’t as pervasive as Big Tobacco wanted people to believe. By connecting
neighbors through voice capture messages, Stones’ Phones helped people realize that Kansas could make an important change and ban workplace smoking for good. Stones’ Phones voice capture programs also connect campaigns with the language being used by everyday Americans to discuss an issue in their neighborhoods and homes. In the heat of a campaign, it’s easy to fall back on standardized talking points and the political language only spoken during a campaign. By using voice capture programs you ensure that you and your supporters are speaking the same language.

We used this type of voice capture program with great success during our work with Defenders of Wildlife in a fight to keep wolves on the endangered species list. Stones’ Phones and Defenders wanted to make sure Montana’s Senators weren’t hearing the same big city environmentalist messaging they had become used to, so we reached out to outdoorsmen, ranchers and hunters and invited them to share their experiences with wolves. Through our program, Defenders of Wildlife was able to refocus the conversation in a way that resonated with Montanans.
