INJECTION SOLUTIONS

THE CHEMISTRY OF INJECTION EPOXY

Epoxy technology is ideal for creating low viscosity, rigid injection resin that bonds tenaciously to mineral substrates. By optimizing these key characteristics, our injection resins offer superior performance whether anchoring, injecting or stitching in timber, concrete and masonry.

ACRYLIC

Acrylic technologies offer a different approach to solving water infiltration issues, particularly when compared to polyurethanes, as they typically form more stable gels rather than foams. These gels are more durable, and combined with a tenacious bond to mineral substrates offer a longer term solution. Acrylics are more complicated in application and utilize water as part of the reaction, therefore can be utilized in “dry” structures in anticipation of water ingress or areas subjected to varying water tables. Applied with plural component pumping technologies, these low viscosity resins provide excellent penetration and are chosen for curtain and follow on grouting after other grout types have stemmed water flow.

Ultra-low viscosity Durable gels React without water being present Ideal for curtain grouting Ideal for forming barriers around failed waterproofing

POLYURETHANE

Polyurethane resins are designed to provide a range of viscosities, reaction times, volumetric expansion and final foam characteristics. Polyurethane foams vary from rigid and flexible closed cell configurations to granular “excavatable” soil stabilization options. Polyurethanes are selected for their simple installation process, modifiable reaction times and overall ease of use, making them the most popular choice in many instances. Ideally suited to fast water cutting applications, and often chosen in mining, tunneling and shaft sinking applications to deal with difficult ground conditions.
